“This is a great space for large groups. Each of the bedrooms has its own bathroom. The house is really even more beautiful in person. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook full meals. We really loved the ambiance the fire place gave us, it was double sided into the dining area and the living room. We also really enjoyed the firepit in the yard.”
This is an adobe building, built in 1878 as a hotel, and has had many uses, but is a beautiful example of southwest architecture. It has been well maintained, updated where necessary. You will enjoy your stay in these clean and comfortable historic surroundings. This building is operated by Arivaca Helping Hearts, a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit. Listed charges are "Suggested Donations" and are Tax Deductible.
“This is a unique and very spacious lodging, and was just the right spot for us. Upon entry, it is like the set of Miss Kitty’s saloon on Gunsmoke (cleaned up and minus any rowdy guests) as it is otherwise used for fundraisers to assist the community with anyone having hardship. The charges benefit this charity as well. The living quarters have all conveniences one may need for a comfortable stay. The caretaker was warmly accommodating, esp given our last minute booking. There is a historic mercantile directly across the street that carries everything from fresh vegetables to hardware. This is a great find in a town bedecked with wildflowers and historic charm.”

“A perfect cozy little cottage that had everything you could need, especially when social distancing. It's a very small town so while the wifi wasn't the best, it's probably the best you can get out there and it was enough to do what I needed when we weren't exploring around. Close to some beautiful drives and despite most everything being closed due to Covid-19, we enjoyed much of the local flair. The soul food place was yummy. Chicken and waffles and homemade banana pudding was the last thing we expected when going to a small town like this so it was a bonus treat. Owners were welcoming and helpful and quick to respond. We enjoyed the recommendations and the chit chat. Our dog Bella felt right at home and loved giving everyone kisses. It was so nice to get away from it all for a few days. We will definitely be back!”
