You don't often find a place like this on Airbnb. A more than 130-year-old log cabin in the cultural heritage landscape of Suvanto takes its residents on a time journey to a 19th-century Ostrobothnian village. The destination is best suited for lovers of Lapland's nature, history and silence, who are not afraid of the dark in winter or mosquitoes in summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

Cozy cottage in a quiet location, close to Pyhä Ski Resort, ski trails and Pyhä-Luosto National Park about 140 km from Rovaniemi and Santa Claus village. The cottage has been renovated to the present day and has a well-equipped kitchen. In the downstairs bedroom, a double bed and a wardrobe. One double bed and a workspace on the loft. In addition, the cottage has a fireplace, sauna, washing machine and a drying cabinet. There is an outdoor fire pit in the yard of the cottage for a fire.

Our igloos are 32m² in size and can accommodate two to four persons. The motorized double bed is directly under the glass ceiling. Separate extra beds are made from the sofa. All igloos are equipped with a toilet and a shower, a TV, a drying cabinet for outdoor clothing. Nice cottage

Take a break from everyday life and relax in this peaceful cabin. Great for 2 adults. The cottage is located in the village of Vutimo, on the way to Pyhä's slopes and ski boards 14 km. To Kemijärvi 35km, Pelkosenniemi 15 km, to Savukoski 60km and to Sodankylä 70 km. Nearest grocery store in Pyhä 14 km and Pelkosenniemi 15 km. There's a lot of snow in March and April, and the best outdoors.

An absolute gem of Airbnb! We felt just like in a fairytale. Tranquillity in the middle of the forest but close to the villages around with supermarkets. Very well maintained roads around. Good morning It is a cottage in the heart of nature. That's what we liked. Being away from hotels and hotel complexes and in the middle of nature. The cottage is well-equipped, functional and the sleds available for children are a real plus. Thank you. We made some great memories.

Very lovely and cozy setting. The cottage was clean and also very beautiful, both outside and inside, as was the whole of Luosto's log village area. There were beautiful views of the fell from the windows. You can get to the ski track within walking distance and other Luosto services just a short distance away. Also a big plus for bringing a pet, my cat was great at the cottage like we did! I recommend for those who appreciate peaceful nature travel. Thanks to the host too, communication worked and the setting was the best! :)

We arrived late, having the coded door for check in was a great start. The home was warm and inviting. It had everything you will need, the owners even left us a welcome bottle of Prosecco 😍. Communication from the owners before, during and after was excellent. Highly recommend this accommodation… we saw the northern lights from our bedroom window and I can’t tell you how close you are to the ski slopes. The sauna is like something out of a movie…. We enjoyed an evening in here while watching the kids play in the snow …. Bliss 🙌🏼….Amazing stay start to Finnish

Beautiful accommodation and equipped with everything important. For 4 adults a little small, especially the additional room from the veranda even without possibility to supply clothes. Unfortunately, it does not have direct access to the toilet from this room. There was little space in the shower room for personal belongings to put away.
