“Really great location to explore Savai’i. The room is right next to the lagoon where you can go kayaking and snorkelling. We were lucky enough to see turtles from our room! Staff are very friendly and the food we had was great. They were doing renovations while we were there so there weren’t many other guests which was a little strange. Overall would highly recommend”
Built on dramatic 100 yr old lava formations and fronts on to the warm and inviting Pacific Ocean where you enjoy the beauty of our green and clean environment. Spot the wild turtles. Meet the locals and experience our Samoan hospitality as you stroll through our village. Join in the activities around the village and enjoy the church singing on Sunday.
“The accommodation was the best thing that could happen to me on Savai'i, much better than the description suggested. The accommodation right on the lagoon is spacious, wonderful view from the balcony. In the lagoon directly at the resort you can bathe at any time without having to trudge over corals, at high tide also with turtles. If you do not feel like salt water, you go into the cold water basin, what more could you want? The team is very friendly, helpful and approachable at any time. I just felt good. When I come back to Samoa, I'll be back.”

“(+) Located in the lava field, facing the sea right in front of the property. The weather was not very good because it was wet season but still enjoyed staying at the seaside. The breakfast(included in the charge) was lovely and the host family was friendly. I thought that this place is a private Airbnb but their property is a resort run by a friendly Samoan family. Their name is 'Bayview resort' so you can just tell this name to the taxi driver to get there. (or you can take local bus to get there right after getting off the ferry. Tell 'Bayview Resort at Saleaula') The room was clean and tidy. Had fridge and air conditioner(wow!). The dinner was yummy(extra charge. Slightly overpriced but good meal). To look around Savaii island, it is a lot cheaper to have rent car or the reception can organize a private taxi tour too. (-) If there is a downside, the bathroom needs bit of improvement. The showerhead was too moldy so I could smell the mould even at the water for shower. Overall, pleasant stay and definitely value for the money. :) Oh! don't forget to go to 'swimming with turtles' nearby. The water was clean and turtles were well treated. Small family run business and they were super friendly too!”
