“We had a wonderful stay at Coconut Villa. Our host Jacqui made us feel right at home with a rum punch on arrival right up to the time we left with a lovely glass of wine as a send off. The villa is well equipt and is super close to the ocean which you can feel and hear as you sleep, it’s heaven. There’s not a huge about in this area so recommend getting a car but within a 5-10 minute drive you’ll find some great beaches, restaurants and shops. Carline who both cleaned and also babysat for our 1 year old son was wonderful. She looked after him like he was her own and we felt very safe leaving him with her. We will certainly be back. Thanks again Jacqui and Carline !”
A cozy self-contained one-bedroom cottage in a private garden setting situated behind the main house on the grounds of our home - across the road from the beautiful Little Welches Beach on the South Coast, just west of Oistins. This cute holiday home is spacious, functional, tastefully furnished in a tropical/coastal island style and is well-maintained. Conveniently located within walking distance of the essential amenities, with onsite parking and easy access to public transport and highways.
“When booking Air BNB, it pays to read other travellers reviews. All of them. I read all of the reviews for Mary's cottage before I booked and it paid dividends. My girlfriend and I have just spent the past 10 days there. The cottage is delightful and has everything that you could possibly need. The location is immediately opposite Welches beach which is picture postcard and on almost every occasion, we were the only people on the beach as far as the eye could see in either direction. The cottage is tastefully decorated, airconditioned, has a private outdoor space with an outside shower (handy when returning from the beach) as well as a hammock and a BBQ if the fresh fish and rice and peas at Oistins across the road becomes too much. Handy for the local supermarket too and Surfers Café which though closed for refurbishment during most of our stay, serves the best rum punch that we experienced (notwithstanding Mary's own which was the best introduction imaginable after a long flight). I truly doubt there is anywhere in Barbados that represents better value for money. If you are a single person or a couple looking for that perfect getaway from it all, this is the place to do it. Enjoy it as much as we did!”
03/03/19 Construction nextdoor- see last pic Coral Cove Cottage is a comfortable one bedroom cottage, fully screened, with it's own private entrances. Located in a quiet residential gap off Enterprise Coast Road on Barbados's South Coast, it's only a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Miami beach (Enterprise Beach), and 10 minutes to Oistins. Take a brief stroll along the gap to the elevated sea-cliff in front for amazing coastal views, sunsets, sea-life and check out the surfing at Freights Bay.
“We enjoyed our stay very much. Due to the pandemic we had to be there nearly 2 weeks longer than originally planned. Scott was always reachable and most helpful. We found everything as we saw in the pictures and enjoyed the cool breeze through the open, fully screened windows (we never used the AC). Our favorite spot (the white bench on the cliff) to watch the turtles in the morning and gorgeous sunsets was only a few steps away. Beautiful Miami Beach was easy to reach on foot (we always took the beach chairs with us), so was Oistins with it´s famous and amazing fish fry. We also walked to Massy Supermarket and took a taxi back. For every other occasion we used either the "reggae bus" or the big busses. Its the easiest and cheapest way to see the whole island. In case we visit Barbados again, we will certainly want to stay there once more.”
