This guest house opened in July 2021. Osu Shopping Street is within a 7-minute walk, and there is a bar on the ground floor, which is popular with local customers. The shared counter kitchen is stocked with a variety of cooking utensils and condiments, so you can enjoy cooking right away. Nearby supermarkets, convenience stores, and pharmacies are within 350 meters. The shared living room is available 24 hours a day, so you can enjoy chatting with guests you've become friends with until midnight, or work at the counter desk. There is no curfew and the shower is available 24 hours. Check-in time is from 4 pm to 11 pm, but Early check-in may be available, so please consult with us. Check-out is by 12: 00, so you can relax and enjoy it. The following items are not included, You can rent or buy them. Our guest house Sumiya is in the centre of Kawayu village near Kumano Hongu Taisha shrine. River Oto in front is a unique river with its hot spring sources and you can enjoy an open air bath (small one in the summer and a big one in the winter). You can also dig your own mini bath in the summer for a little bathing under the milky way. Near to Kumano Kodo trail, Kawayu is one of the best destinations for those who want to know more about the area's history and culture and enjoy its nature.

3-minute walk to Matsumoto Castle and Nawate Street. The hostel is on a quiet street. Nearby, you can find traditional restaurants, izakaya, and a public bath. The building is renovated traditional Japanese house so that you can enjoy a cozy Japanese feeling here. In the common area, you can relax on a kotatsu, hammock, or couch :) The room is a corner room which has two single beds and a double bed so that you can stay with your friends or family. Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.
