We booked this meal with Alberto as a special treat for my wife's birthday and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Communication was great before the meal, with Alberto discussing the different course options over message, including what drinks and flavour of birthday cake. Him and his team arrived promptly on the day, and decorated the table to make it feel really special. Each course was fantastic. We've eaten a lot of great food in Mexico City, and this meal was the best we had. Good quality ingredients. We loved the care and conversation, we had a lot of questions about the food and the background of the ingredients, and he was very happy to answer and explain the origins of each dish. The cocktails were also the best we had during our stay. And the chocolate birthday cake was amazing, and very sweet of everyone to sing happy birthday. To top it off, Alberto has such a lovely decoration for my wife for her birthday, which she really appreciated.

Chef Alberto and his team were fantastic and extremely professional. They brought table decorations and provided all of the necessary cookware and plating which was really nice to not have to worry about! The food they prepared was delicious, interesting, perfectly seasoned, colorful, and beautifully presented. Chef Alberto worked with us to create menu options for each diner and made a specific dessert for our friend’s birthday per our request, which we really appreciated. I will also add that Chef Alberto was very communicative and answered all of our questions before we booked, which was something other chefs providing this service that we looked into did not do. Everything they prepared was delicious, fresh, complex, thoughtful…there were no misses for anything we ate, and overall I thought this meal was better than some of the most famous and expensive restaurants in the city. What a unique and incredible experience - highly recommend Chef Alberto and his team for a special meal!
