I enjoyed the handmade dishes of the kind and gentle chef. They didn't arrive on time, and dinner was significantly delayed. I understand there was traffic, but even though I gave them the address and the correct directions, they couldn't use it. My husband went to the trouble of arranging a scooter, but he didn't get a reply to his message, and we ended up missing each other. They also ignored our advice to share the location on WhatsApp. Upon arrival, perhaps due to fatigue, the chef's wife? was visibly angry. I think that is a very wrong attitude towards a traveler who is not a local and who has arranged everything from directions and parking to a motorcycle. In order not to ruin dinner, we had to start over and be considerate of them. It was a villa on a small road in Ubud, but other providers that Airbnb also offers were able to arrive correctly and on time.

Absolutely loved our dinner with Chef Wayan! He prepared an incredible Balinese dinner spread that was extremely generous in portion and very tasty! He even accomodated adding a veggie dish as a last minute request. If we could book him again for our remaining nights in Bali, we would but he's unfortunately all booked up. You will not regret booking with Chef Wayan and his team.

Wayan and crew were absolutely amazing from start to finish. The communication after booking was great we figured out a meal plan right away. Wayan showed up on time and ready to cook, we had an extremely small kitchen and he made everything work out perfectly. The food itself was delicious and amazingly plated and served. Each dish was more than enough for everyone. If you come across his booking and it’s available, I’d book it instantly! They cleaned the kitchen and the dishes afterwards as well! Thank you all very much for everything.
