It is surrounded by four white-walled storehouses built in the Edo period and four gardens. It has been gradually renovated and revitalized (currently in the process of revitalization), including the white plaster walls and natural Kenji-ji bamboo fences.Originally an old house opened as an almost 100% inbound accommodation.We are conducting a semi open-air bath in the interior of the warehouse and renovation work centered around the water. ■ Soothing moss garden ■ There are three moss gardens: the front garden, the middle garden, and the back garden. Well water flows everywhere, including through the water fountains, the ladles, the deer scarecrows, the stream between the stepping stones, and the pond. The pond is home to koi, goldfish, medaka, tanago, and river shrimp, and is a biotope space visited by wild birds. ■ Chick-in lounge (cafe/bar space), souvenir corner ■ You can drink authentic cocktails on the first floor of the main building.There is a souvenir corner with imported interior goods, accessories, natural stone, and other items from Japan, Bali, and other overseas locations.

This accommodation is limited to one group per day and allows you to enjoy the beauty of the many islands in the Seto Inland Sea and the sunset. Designed by the host, an architect who has won numerous awards overseas. Not extraordinary, but a "delicate life" with the theme of enriching everyday life. You can experience that kind of life here. There is a separate indoor bath from the Hinoki bath, but the view of Setouchi and the starry sky from the Goemon bath, heated with firewood, is the best. If you're lucky, you'll see artificial satellites and meteors. The water heated by firewood never gets cold. It warms you from the core of your body. The bedding is specially ordered from a long-established bedding manufacturer in Kyoto, and the bath invites you to relax your body and mind and sleep soundly. Most guests say they sleep well. During the day, you might want to spend some time in the lounge filled with houseplants. Enjoy the sunlight shining through the trees from the skylight. Here, the right answer is to do nothing and just be. How about emptying your mind? If you request at least a week before your stay, we can prepare local food from Oshima Island and seasonal food that we can get through a special route. If you wish, you can also dine at a counter made of pure cedar, similar to a traditional Japanese restaurant.

Why not meditate in an elegant and somewhat ephemeral space, feel the power, and spend a luxurious time? The barbecue in a relaxed atmosphere is also exceptional. Enjoy the view outside from the bathroom, and on clear nights, you can also enjoy bathing while watching the starry sky. During the day, you can relax on the fluffy sofa in the building, enjoy fishing, or hop around the island. In summer, you can also enjoy swimming at Sunset Beach. For guests staying 2 nights or more, you can also add the "Tsumugi Retreat Plan", which offers a total plan during your stay to feel the spirit of Oshima. The accommodation is a completely independent private space within the house. The entrance, kitchen, bathroom and toilet are also private, so you can maintain your privacy. The host lives on the property, but the guest space is completely separate, so you can feel at ease. The 9 tatami mat room can accommodate up to 6 guests and is a spacious space that can be made into a semi-private room with a pleated screen when sleeping. Because it is an old house, there are steep stairs (with handrails) and steps. We appreciate your understanding and caution if you have small children or have difficulty walking.
