Wild cabin near the road

A peaceful wilderness cottage on the river bank, next to Lake Sevettijärvi and close to the road (110m). The environment is beautiful and diverse nature. There's a hiking trail to Näätämö nearby. The cottage comfortably accommodates two people. There are 3 sleeping places. The plot has a very high quality wood sauna and an outdoor toilet as well as a wooden toilet. There is no electricity or running water in the cabin. Heating is provided by a fireplace. The property is rented only to those who have experience in wilderness cottages and know how to operate fireplaces.

The place invites relaxation and tranquility and is located by the fjord on the Varanger peninsula in the Sami/Norwegian municipality of Unjargga/Nesseby. (N70) Centrally located in relation to nature-based, seasonal activities and for exploration of the Varanger Peninsula, the National Park and East Finnmark. Rowboat, campfire can be used freely by appointment. The host lives in the main apartment on the farm.

Our cottage is located in a unique quiet location, on the shore of a lake. Close to the wilderness of Lapland. It is still easily accessible by car. In the warmth of our cottage, it is easy to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature in the ever-changing landscape of large windows. Enjoy the silence and follow the course of nature. Admire the northern lights. Go ice fishing in the spring. In the summer, you can fish, row on the lake or take a dip in your own beach. Now also a barbecue hut-sauna at your disposal.

Lisäksi vierastalosta löytyy myös pieni keittiö, jossa voit tarvittaessa myös kokata. Kohde sijaitsee 10 kilometrin päässä Ivalosta.

Cosy log cabin in Ivalojoki river with all amenities needed for a comfortable and adventurous stay: please read the full description before booking! The cabin lies on an island, the last part needs to be walked over the ice (safe from mid-December till April) or rowed with our small rowing boat (included). Savu is furnished with style by Finnish design. You can chill along fireplace and check aurora borealis from your own pier. Savu has also an exotic smoke sauna in the same building what you can also rent for an extra fee. Hot tube is also possible to rent. Ice swimming is possible as well.

This private little cottage is located next to the lake of Inari, but also only just 15 minutes drive away from the center of Ivalo. Beautiful lake and fell scenery opens straight away from the front door and sauna. Cottage has modern equipments for cozy living, a fireplace and wood-heated sauna. During the evenings you can hear huskies howling few kilometers away and hopefully spot the auroras dancing above the lake. Entrance to bathroom through cold veranda.
