Nice apartment and meeting with happy reindeer

The apartment is renovated in the year 2017 and it is a part of the bigger building. It is located 400 meters from our home ( and the lake), 18 km from Inari (nearest grocery and restaurants) and 350 km from Rovaniemi. In the apartment you will find all normal facilities and sauna. This is a good place to see Northern Lights and beautiful nature is around you here. If you are interested to see how people really live in Lappland, but you also appreciate your own peace, this place is for you.

The cabin lies on an island, the last part needs to be walked over the ice (safe from mid-December till April) or rowed with our small rowing boat (included). Rauhallinen erämökki joen rannalla, Sevettijärven vieressä ja lähellä tietä. Ympäristö on kaunista ja monipuolista luontoa. Lähistöltä löytyy vaellusreitti. Mökkiin mahtuu mukavasti kaksi ihmistä. Nukkumapaikkoja on 3. Tontilla on lisäksi löylyiltänsä erittäin laadukas puusauna ja ulko-WC sekä puuliiteri. Mökissä ei ole sähköjä eikä juoksevaa vettä. Lämmitys tapahtuu kaminalla. Kohdetta vuokrataan vain heille, joilla on kokemusta erämökeistä ja osaavat toimia tulipesien kanssa.

This cottage might look too good to be true - but it's real! Our log cabin called Savu is located just next to the beautiful, rocky, fishy and pure lake Ukko as you can see in pictures. Savu is furnished with style by Finnish design. You can chill along fireplace and check aurora borealis from your own pier. Savu has also an exotic smoke sauna in the same building what you can also rent for an extra fee. Hot tube is also possible to rent. Ice swimming is possible as well.

Maggie’s accommodation is a fairytale-like place in a picture-perfect setting. We had the Northern Lights right in front of the terrace and looked forward to the sauna and the cozy stove at home after every adventure. We would have loved to stay longer and are 100% thrilled with both the accommodation and the area.

We truly enjoyed our 4 day stay in this cabin. A place to calm down and enjoy the little things. A good homemade cooked meal, exploring nature and spending time offline with people who matter to you. The most adventurous part for us was crossing the lake. We knew the ice was at least 40cm deep but the sun had melted the first few layers, creating little puddles and slush like ice. For somebody who is not experienced in crossing frozen lakes, it was definitely a thrill for us. But it was worth it, we saw reindeers, northern lights and plenty of different birds on the island which we had to ourselves. The sauna was a wonderful place to really warm up daily and relax. We hope to return one day back to this beautiful cabin! Maybe in the summer, next time 😊

Annukka's place was perfect for our one night stay, before we continued our trip. It's a cozy cabin on a beautiful spot, and has all you need to make it a comfortable experience. Really enjoyed our stay!
