Welcome to The Orchid Room. Unwind on the deck with a nice drink while you enjoy the tranquillity of rural life. Max.4 Adults, King bed, pull out sofa or king single beds. Reverse cycle Air Con (Heat Pump). Wander around the landscaped 6,000Sq Mtr property and maybe even feed the fish in the spring fed dam. We are just mins from the Gympie CBD, the new Bruce Highway and approx 40mins to the beaches of Noosa. NB. Unfenced dam, please supervise young children. STRICTLY No pets we have wildlife.

The Cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed, a sofa bed, a bathroom and a small kitchen, with a gas BBQ on verandah. Its suitable for a small family. It has Air-con. The farm has a herd of cows and some cultivated fields. There is a kilometer of Mary River frontage with bird, rare lungfish, frogs and platypus. There are large areas of scenic bush walking. Our place is dog friendly, but prefer the dog to stay outside in the secure enclosure on verandah.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely views either down to the dam or across the fields and trees. Very relaxing atmosphere, yet so close to Gympie town centre. If we had stayed longer than 2 nights we would have enjoyed a BBQ on the balcony and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.

Spent the Anzac Day long weekend at this beautiful mountain retreat with family...it was absolutely stunning!! From watching the kangaroos grazing in the morning as the fog cleared, to the beautiful sunsets in the evening, the serenity of the location, and all the mod cons and beautiful styling, our stay was enjoyed by all!! We had such a wonderful time and have made some lifelong memories 💚 Thanks for having us Tess!
