Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Shadwell

Joseph is an amazingly responsive and gracious host—he permitted early check in, provided excellent local suggestions and always answered questions quickly and thoroughly. His place is incredible. The location is in a quiet area near the park and a school but only blocks from the buzz of Upper Street with its cafes, shops and restaurants. It is beautifully decorated in a chic but still comfy way—Wood flooring, warm colors, plants, books. It has elegant styling and very cool automated features with automated lights and blinds, etc. that are quite easy to use. Additional shades and shutters allowed us to darken sleeping areas reasonably well. The kitchen appliances are very modern and easy to use. Joseph is quite thoughtful and even left some nespresso pods (yay), dishwasher pods, laundry pods—thank you! The sofa bed was reasonably comfortable and the regular bed and pillows were excellent. Access to the garden is a wonderful perk. Excellent Airbnb—do not hesitate to book!

Nice place. Quiet enough area. 15-minute walk to Surrey Quay shopping center and tube spot was easy. Had everything we needed in the house. Had to share walls with neighbors on both sides, which wasn't ideal, but so London. Not near any action, but that was the whole point for our small family of four. Recommended.

It’s a very good selection for our London trip. The location is very convenient and also hv supermarket right cross the street. We really recommend those first time travellers to choose this place. You won’t regret it.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Skyfall’s Airbnb in London! The home was impeccably maintained- clean, beautifully set up, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. It truly felt like a home away from home. Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, the location offered the perfect balance of tranquility while still being well-connected to the rest of the city. The calm surroundings made it easy to relax after a long day of exploring. Skyfall was a fantastic host- responsive, thoughtful, and clearly takes pride in maintaining a high standard. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely return on our next trip to London. Highly recommended!!!

Great unit that was close to transportation. Unit was in a safe area. Unit was clean and well equipped. Our host Brett was easy to get ahold of and represented the unit accurately. Would highly recommend.

I stayed at Darrens house and it was beautifully decorated, very clean and surprisingly a huge property. Darren and Nic were seamless with their communication, and flexible with check out. Rekha was a very nice and responsive host. She was quick and outgoing to satisfy all our requests. The apartment was nice, spacious, and clean. Both bathrooms and the kitchen were well equipped. It is on the ground floor, so easy to access also with a bigger luggage. Walking distance to several bars and restaurants (e.g. for breakfast) and to subway station (Whitechapel). My husband and I travel a lot and have booked over a hundred apartments worldwide, and this one is definitely in our top 5! First, the cleanliness and coziness are impeccable — everything is spotless, even under the beds and wardrobes. Second, the apartment is highly functional and well-equipped for both short and long stays. It has everything you need: kitchen appliances, a kettle, an oven, an iron, a vacuum cleaner, and more. The dedicated workspace and excellent internet make remote work easy and comfortable. Additionally, the apartment’s design is stylish and thoughtfully arranged — it's a pleasure to just relax in the armchair in the evenings. The apartment is in a modern building on a high floor with stunning views — much nicer than staying in traditional English townhouses. The location is perfect: just five minutes from three metro and train stations, in a quiet and safe neighborhood with plenty of cafés around. We highly recommend this apartment — a solid 10 out of 10!

Excellent location for O2 events and site seeing in London. The location was not busy, quiet day and night, with a light city buzz of traffic and trains in the background. It felt very safe and secure. Flat was clean, tidy, and everything you'd expect it to be and more. Hosts were lovely and very accomadating. If you are driving in there is a bonus of free secure parking nearby, so do check with the host for availability before booking your own. Plenty of transport options also, DLR (Royal Victoria), Underground (Canning Town), IFS Cable Car over Thames, and Uber Clipper boats. If you do need to be other side of river e.g. O2, getting an Uber Clipper Boat, North Greenwich underground, would recommend the Cable Car there is 10 one-way journeys for £17 per person. If you're looking for a few nights in London, I would definitely recommend this.

I enjoyed my stay at Marcela & Alan’s place. It’s very stylish - recently renovated to a high standard. And clutter-free which made it feel a calm space. The living room is amazing, with the floor to ceiling windows looking out to the garden and the trees in the park beyond. During my stay it was 32 degrees but the flat was nice & cool :)

I loved staying at Stephen's. The apartment is beautiful and well-contemplated, with a really nice open feel but also separate spaces for hanging / working / eating. It gets beautiful light in the AM as well as the afternoon. I also loved the kitchen--sizeable and useful. I spent a ton of time here--it's the kind of space you won't get sick of or feel cramped in. ALSO. As a woman traveling alone, I felt super safe here, coming / going in the dark in the early AM and at night and I had only nice encounters with others in the building. You should know as well that this is a foot away from the Whitechapel tube stop with 3 of the most major lines, so you're via tube ~15-20mins from 80% of London. Location is great--you're right by Bethnal Green and ~10mins from Shoreditch. Check-in / out was easy, Stephen was communicative, flexible and kind. Highly recommend for anyone but especially if you mean to have a long-term stay and do some work...creative work especially!

Wir waren als Familie unterwegs. Die Wohnung mit zwei Schlafzimmern (ein großes und ein kleines) ist ideal für 4 Personen. Die Wohnung ist sehr modern eingerichtet und hat alles, was man braucht. Unseren Jungs hat besonders die Benutzung des Gyms gefallen. Von der Wohnung aus kann man in 20 - 25 min zu Fuß viele tolle Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen. Der Check-In mit Guiseppe hat sehr gut funktioniert. Guiseppe ist ein wunderbarer, freundlicher Mensch. Er war immer erreichbar und hat sich proaktiv gemeldet. Der Balkon mit Blick auf die Skyline hat was! Diese Wohnung können wir auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

What a beautiful home. Felt relaxed as soon as we popped the cases down and popped the kettle on. Two very comfortable sized and comfy bedrooms and a bright, clean and sizable bathroom. The main living area was as seen in the photos, loved the array of books and record player was just an added bonus. Kitchen area had all you need for cooking, so don't worry about bringing anything. Abigail was such an attentive host, checking in to make sure we were not in need of anything. Thank you for making our stay in London more enjoyable. Would recommend without reservation!

Highly recommended and great value. This was a great find. The roof terrace has wonderful views of the London skyline/landmarks and Mark was a great host. We used the buses (10 mins walk to bus stop) and Ubers to get around - both really easy from the apartment. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are modern and clean. There is lots of tech in the apartment which was fun and easy to use. The kitchen is really well equipped and the sofa is very comfortable. very minor note: People who are significantly higher than average height or width may find the rooftop access staircase a challenge. The apartment itself is really spacious.

Really easy to access. All the informations given where super detailed. The studio flat itself has planty of space. We found more than anything we would possibly need during our stay. The host replied really quickly to my question and was friendly and kind. Loved the area, especially because it’s right in between Islington and Shoreditch and good for trandports.

A great place. The terrace is fantastic. Watching the sun go down at night was so peaceful. A wonderful place to stay.

Emmanuel was such a great host. The communication went very smoothly. He was very responsive, kind, flexible and easygoing. The location was great as it was very close to public transportation. Based on the description, there were no surprises. I can only recommend Emmanuel’s place.

Deborah’s place is a dream. I’d been hesitant to book a flat away from central London, but this gorgeous loft ended up being exactly what I needed for a lovely recharge weekend. Deborah was highly communicate and easily reachable with questions on a moment’s notice, and the balcony was idyllic to pop open a bottle of wine and enjoy the sunset.

Fantastic location, great flat and Philip was a superb host - can't wait to return!

I loved staying here! Such a peaceful find for London, could have been in the countryside somewhere! Surrounded by birds, ducks and parakeets. Such a gem of a place, I would definitely stay here again when back in London. Lovely bathroom & modern kitchen, felt right at home. Thanks so much!
