Kihachikan South Nozawa Onsen

Kihachikan South is a luxurious and homely family chalet. It has three bedrooms; one double, one twin and one smaller single room. The light filled, open plan kitchen and living room features a locally made oak kitchen that includes a Miele oven and induction hob and Miele dishwasher. The kitchen is fully supplied with all the main amenities including; a rice cooker, toaster, microwave, coffee machine and full cooking utensils should they be required. The comfy sofa seating area focusses around a cast iron pellet stove and the latest Bang & Olufsen television and sound system including live feed from the ski hills and Netflix. The daily readings from the traditional barograph will keep you ahead of the weather apps …….. possibly! The bedrooms maintain a traditional feel with shoji windows, wooden beams and authentic wall coverings with the addition of discreet blinds, wooden flooring and western style beds. The bedroom wardrobes in Japanese oak were made to order in Nagano. The bathrooms include walk in showers with locally made hinoki shower benches. The upstairs bathroom with both slate and wooden flooring also contains a separate seating area and large bath tub. The upstairs bathroom enjoys great views over to Togari and Mount Myoko. Dyson hair dryers are supplied in the two main bedrooms. The artwork throughout the Kihachikan South is a mixture of original Japanese woodblock prints and an extensive collection of original 16th & 17th century antique maps of Asia. Kihachikan South has a Miele washing machine and separate Miele clothes dryer.The ski, board and boot room is downstairs and shared with Kihachikan North and contains snow shoes for guest use (when available).

Limited to one group per day, Mökki is a small cottage with a garden by a stream

Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish, a Nordic language. Enjoy your time in a special space away from everyday life. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, blessed with forests, lakes and snow in northern Nagano Prefecture. Nearby, there are many natural sightseeing spots such as Kurohime Highlands, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi. A building from the development era, it has been stylishly renovated using plenty of natural materials such as pure cedar, hinoki cypress, and plaster. We also focused on the interior and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". In the winter, when it is completely covered in snow, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the snow-covered landscape. You can follow animal tracks on snowshoes and go on a snowy picnic, or enjoy a bonfire and BBQ in the riverside house in winter. There are also 7 ski resorts within a 30-minute drive. This area is famous for its powder snow, and is also a great base for skiing and snowboarding. There is also a birthday cake service for guests celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. We have renovated it to be able to accommodate guests, while keeping the rural Kabuki stage as intact as possible. We hope you enjoy the hot springs, delicious food, and pleasant mountains in the town around Lake Suwa, which you can see from the window.

A space where you can experience nature, art, and traditional Japanese culture in the mountains of Hokushinano, Shootenchi

58 square-meter one-room (hall) wooden warehouse structure - The bedding is futons There is a toilet in the accommodation (hall)　 There is no bath, but there is a hot water shower. There are several hot springs about 20 minutes away by car. - WiFi (network environment) available ・ No smoking inside the hall (inside the accommodation facility). There is a smoking table in the garden. There are no restaurants nearby because it is far from the city. Please have dinner before you arrive or bring your food. The kitchen includes water, a gas stove, dishes, pots, and frying pans. There is also a fire pit for barbecuing in the garden. The accommodation fee is 6,500 yen (due to rising prices, the price will be raised) We do not accept last-minute reservations (please book at least 3 days in advance)

We renovated a riverside villa in the forest of Karuizawa. The grounds of this great location are about 2,500 ㎡! Feel the extraordinary atmosphere with a large sofa and fireplace in the living room, a large yard and outdoor dining. In the bathroom, you can enjoy a JAXSON jet bath, a large sauna for 4 people that can be used at the same time, and a rain shower in the bath. Please note that in a natural environment, insects may occur indoors during your stay, as we are renovating an old villa. If you have an excessive allergy to insects, please refrain from booking.

Capsule House-K, a monumental capsule house in nature designed by Kisho Kurokawa

CAPUSULE HOUSE-K is a private house designed by Kisho Kurokawa. It was created based on the concepts of Metabolism and Homo Mobius. This building is composed of the same capsules as the Chugin Capsule Tower Building, which is also a metabolism building, and was completed in 1973, the year after the building was completed. Until now, it has been open only to a few people and was a little-known building, but in 2019, the restoration was started by Kisho Kurokawa's son, and now it is open to the public with the interior of that time.
