The Surf Chalet is a one of a kind vacation experience on the coast of Maine. Ideally located between Long Sands, Short Sands and the Nubble Lighthouse. Only a 0.2 mile walk to Long Sands Beach, 0.4 mile walk to Short Sands/shopping. The Surf Chalet sleeps 6. King sized bed, 2 Twin beds and twin/full bunk beds. 1.5 bath with an open living/dining area. The Surf Chalet offers many conveniences: fire pit, patio, grill, large front yard, children's toys, beach chairs and yard/beach/board games.

Long Sands Cottage - Walk to Beach

Walk to Long Sands Beach - we are 0.4 miles from the beach, about a 7 minute walk. July/August are 7-day Sat to Sat only rentals. BYO Linens and Towels. Cottage is on a charming unpaved road in a quiet neighborhood of small 1950's vintage seasonal cottages. Walking distance to downtown York Beach which has a zoo, restaurants, penny arcade and fun shops. There is a rolling beach cart and two beach chairs available for your use. If you are looking for a restaurant close by try Stones Throw.

Imagine staying in a yurt in the woods of Chebeague Island, nestled in a private clearing in the woods. Explore island beaches and hidden trails. This yurt is “glampy” inside with leather chairs and a substantial log bed. The yurt has a rusticator kitchen with all of the basics for cooking: fridge, stovetop, sink, water, firepit & firewood. Outdoor shower. WiFi . Heater for cool spring nights. Ferry options on Casco Bay Lines or CTC Ferry. Host provides transport to/from ferry to the yurt.

Our spacious 3 room, 1,200 square foot historic (c. 1670) one bedroom apartment for two guests has exposed beams, wide pine floors, full bath, kitchenette, and is just a short walk to Long Sands Beach or a short drive to York Beach, York Harbor, or York Village.
