The spacious master bedroom features a high, dome-shaped ceiling and faces west towards the ocean. The second bedroom is lined with original hand-made tiles and opens onto a small east-facing patio. The living room is centered around the original fireplace and defined by its high wooden ceiling structure.

Accessed via the original wooden staircase, Piso Alto feels open and elevated, with light entering from all sides. Ocean views unfold in every direction: to the south as far as the cliffs of Cabo da Roca, the most western spot of mainland Europe. From the north bedroom of the Piso Alto you can see all the way up to surf town Ericeira.

The apartment has a clean, minimal interior, balancing traditional character with a contemporary coastal feel. Our favorite spot: the hammock on the terrace!

Located in the nº 27 of square Largo 1º de Dezembro in São Pedro, Sintra, this small building was completely renovated to accommodate two tourist apartments. Its architectural and landscape surroundings make it perfectly integrated into the historic setting and serene environment of Sintra. This typical building had been for decades in ruins, just as so many others around the country.
