Karey and Bob went above and beyond to make me and my parents’ stay incredible. Out of all the Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at, this will go down as one of the most memorable experiences. If you’re interested in great views, vibes, and stories, then look no further than here. You won’t be disappointed! 🎶

Cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had staying at Rivers Retreat. It truly is a magical place right next to the Washougal River where you are surrounded by nature and can hear the peaceful river below. The hosts are more than helpful and we were grateful for their recommendations. We enjoyed watching the bald eagles and relaxing by the bonfire. The indoor space was very well kept and full of amenities. We will definitely return for another stay if ever in the area.

The view is phenomenal. It's very peaceful and beautiful there. There is a adjoining door between apts for larger family/group stays and you can hear the conversations of the guests staying on the other side when they're are in their living room area, but otherwise very peaceful setting. The furniture wasn't super comfy, but not bad either. Just so-so on comfort. If you're like most people visiting the area, there's so much to explore between wineries and little riverside towns, hiking, kayaking and kite surfing, you won't be lounging on the couch or in bed all day hopefully, but out enjoying the best of the NW! We are former pet owners and I thought the bedding and towels had a dog smell to them, but I have a sensitive nose. My husband didn't notice it. Great price, great stay. We'd come back and definitely stay here again. Beautiful setting for a wedding-which they do host on the lower level of the barn (but not when guests are staying above - unless it's the wedding party).

Just a short mile from town, nice view out front sliding door of the river. Clean space, Christine and Martin were very friendly and have lots of knowledge about Columbia the Gorge.area.

What a beautiful a private spot tucked out of the way with amazing views. Private and quite, just what we were looking for.

This was the perfect place to stay while in town for a wedding. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Hood River!

What a serene place in a beautiful spot! We felt home right away, and if there weren't as many things to do in the area, we might have hung out more at the place, just because ... It's a gorgeous private little Island of Heaven, overlooking the river in the middle of nature. Whether you hang out inside or on the patio, you're at home. Whomever looks to escape the daily hamster wheel, that's the place to be. Hope to be back some time ...

Great location to all the restaurants downtown. We walked everywhere. Place a little dated but clean and lots of room.

We loved the cleanliness and location. The space and amenities are just as described in the post. Highly recommend if spending some time in Hood River.

Great place to stay walkable to downtown, but still in a quiet neighborhood. Julie’s place has everything you could need in a home.

This is a very quaint and beautiful inn, walking distance to downtown. The views from our room on the 2nd floor were spectacular. We loved the Kickstand Coffee and Kitchen restaurant just around the corner (adjacent to the bike shop). Great food and fun atmosphere. The inn is very old and historic so (obviously) fixtures and plumbing are a bit strained but that's standard for a place with so much history and beauty. We had a blast and Eric was superb in his communication and responsiveness!

Wonderful walkable location. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to make several meals. The place was very quiet and restful.

We had such a great time at Julie’s place. Just a couple blocks from coffee and restaurant’s. Beach access and mountain biking super close. We’ll be back for sure!

Host was awesome and our stay was great. Home was beautiful and clean. Would absolutely stay again. Very grateful!
