Newly renovated main building in a farmhouse, secluded on the farm, with a wonderful view of Verdal and Trondheimsfjorden. It's perfect for two, and with the guest bed, there's room for one more. There are horses on the farm that can be seen from the house. We enjoy being here with the whole family; there's no traffic passing by the house. If you would like accommodation for more than three people, it is possible to rent an additional studio. Possibilities to rent a stable for a horse if needed. Prepared ski slopes in the immediate vicinity of the cabin. And you can explore Trondheim which is within reach (50min). The cabin has four bedrooms, a cozy living room, modern kitchen, bathroom and a loft. The property is fully fenced, perfect if you bring your dog. 4-wheel drive in winter is recommended. Take care of small children, terrace has no railing.

Mirror suite with private sauna

The mirror suite offers a stay close to nature and with a fantastic view. Suite because it contains everything you need for a good stay, and more than that. The mirror suite has a mirror function in two walls. You can see out, but no one can see in. Not even the wild animals, birds, foxes or moose that wander by. You live centrally, not far from the store and people, but still completely for yourself. Lovely bathroom with shower and hot water. Private wood-fired sauna in a house nearby. The atmosphere can only be good.

Forbord Dome

“Dome Forecourt” is an exclusive glamping experience for two in the heart of nature. You can sleep under the stars, enjoy the panoramic view over the Trondheim Fjord, witness a magical sunset, or, if you're lucky, see the spectacular Northern Lights. The dome measures a full 23 square meters, with windows in the roof and at the front, and it is situated on a two-level terrace featuring seating and a fire pit. There are plenty of great hiking options in the area. How about a hike to the top of "Forbordsfjellet"?

Cozy "Stabbur", 30 min. from Trondheim

Stabburet ligger på Brøttem Gård i Klæbu, Trondheim Kommune. Beliggenheten er landlig (ved Selbusjøen og Brungmarka) og ypperlig med tanke på dagsturer i marka både til fots og på ski. Brygge er tilgjengelig ved Selbusjøen sommers tid. Herfra kan man padle i kajakk/kano eller ro seg en tur. Gården ligger nære Gjenvollhytta og Langmyra skianlegg om man vil gå på ski i oppkjørte løyper. Dagsturer til Kråkfjellet og Rensfjellet er mulig. Vassfjellet er 10 min unna og kun 30 min. til Trondheim :)

We can help with most things, transport, catering, boat rental, etc. Please note that it can get hot indoors when the sun is up, even with the aircon on.
