Cottage in Húsavík, Sandoy

Almost 200-year-old listed stone house in the historic village of Húsavík on Sandoy. You will live close to nature in an old traditional Faroese stone house with grass on the roof, wooden walls and wooden and stone floors. The house is in a wing, where you go through the 'smoke room' where the sleeping area is into the living room (glass room). The smoke room has high ceilings, while the living room is lower, overlooking the ocean. Older bathroom and a small kitchen with new appliances and dishwasher.

The 2 hour ferry trip to the island, return ticket about 11 euro and 37 euro with car, is beautiful. Newly renovated house decorated stylish and simple with danish designs.
