Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Slovene Littoral

We loved our stay! The property at the end of Lake Bohinj is lovely, with a beautiful creek flowing behind it and is close to the lake and many hiking trails. The property is big and very well kept. My family had fun playing games on the large grassy area with a volleyball net. The cabin is new, clean and cozy with nice bedding and well stocked kitchen and linens. We made 3 dinners and found everything we needed for food prep. If you're going to cook, you may want to pick up groceries before arriving in the area as the local markets have somewhat limited options. Amenities in the cabin were perfect! We watched movies, took saunas and lit fires in the fireplace - wood and kindling provided in cabin. Washer/dryer worked great and it was nice to do some laundry before moving on to our next destination. Jaka is very responsive. He communicates well and proactively using the AirBnB app.

Wonderful place to stay in Ljubljana. Ljubljana is entirely walkable, but just about 5 minutes walk to the main square with the triple bridges. Babu’s street food is right outside the apartment, and he’s so friendly and makes great food from Bangladesh. Suzana responded politely and promptly to me. I would totally recommend this place.

We stayed at Elvis’s place for a week and loved everything bout it. The apartment is tucked away is the tiny village of Ipsy . Upon arriving our first impression was WOW ! This a gem! The place is full of charm, history , and the view is one of the best in Istria Super clean and everything you need for your stay. The 3 terraces provide extra space to relax, read, dine outside while enjoying the views of Motovun Elvis has taken his family’s 250 year old home and added modern bathrooms and flooring without changing the integrity of the home. It’s very well done. The beds are comfy and showers are great and its quiet Ipsa, the winery and olive producer is right next door.. 😀. Loved it ! Roman and Milena were very gracious and frendly hosts. They had special treats when we arrived and were very informative about the local hikes and restaurants. The location is just magical. So peaceful and beautiful! The cottage is well equipped and spotless! There are even slippers available for guest use! Very thoughtful. We hope to come back sometime for a longer stay. I received a very warm welcome and felt comfortable right away. The room is beautifully decorated, with solid wood furniture that creates a warm and aesthetic atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything I needed. The location in the quiet village and the cozy terrace are perfect for relaxing. The host also recommended a wonderful hiking route to Mount Matajur, which was a real highlight. I would love to come back anytime!

Ik verbleef met drie vriendinnen in dit appartement. Als je op zoek bent naar natuur, ruimte en rust is deze plek speciaal voor jou. Het uitzicht vanuit de keuken/ eetkamer is fantastisch. Ook hebben we genoten van de sauna. Je moet wel eerst de host vragen om de sauna te openen aangezien het in een aparte ruimte ligt, maar dat was niet erg. Wij raden dit verblijf zeker aan !

Pretty Jolie was the perfect getaway! The apartment was beautiful and cozy- I especially loved the activities room which had a guest book for us to write notes in addition to games and books. The location of the apartment was very convenient as it was a less than ten minute walk from the supermarket and three minute walk to the lake- I would definitely stay recommend this listing. As a plus point- the kitchen had spices and oil which made cooking significantly easier!

This place was a haven in the city! It is so convenient to everything, but quiet and peaceful. It was wonderfully furnished, and the host has thought of everything you need! I highly recommend this place!

The location of the apartment is absolutely amazing. You are in the middle of the nature, enjoying breathtaking landscape and stunning mountain view. From time to time animals pass by and say hello - so peaceful it is. The apartment is well equipped, built with quality material and thoughtfully designed. The communication with the host is fast and easy. We highly recommend.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Bled. Das Apartment war sehr schön gestaltet, alles sauber und neu renoviert und es war super, dass wir die Fahrräder nutzen konnten. Sogar Helme und eine Fahrradpumpe waren da. Erika war sehr freundlich, immer gut erreichbar und wir hatten sogar die Möglichkeit, etwas früher in das Apartment zu gehen. Vom Apartment aus ist man schnell zu Fuß am See unten und es gibt viele Restaurants in der Nähe.

We were in transit for 1 night before our cruise. Super great place, lots to see. Great restaurants nearby. The apartment was great very big very comfortable. Well equipped. Highly recommend to other guests. Host was very accommodating and proactive. Great stay 😃

Beautiful location - the lake views were astonishingly gorgeous! The apartment was cozy but well-appointed and very bright. I loved the guide provided by the hosts, that was super helpful. Parking was tricky but they gave us very clear and helpful information when we let them know we had a car. No need for a car there though! Everything was conveniently located and their restaurant and activity recommendations were perfect. We truly had a wonderful weekend all around!

It was easy to see why Casa Zen ranks in the top 5% of Airbnb listings in Trieste. Donatella was an exceptional host—welcoming us early, helping with our bags, and offering a map, English guidebook, and thoughtful suggestions that led us to some of the best experiences of our trip. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city on a charming pedestrian boulevard surrounded by great shops and restaurants. The apartment itself was spotless, spacious, and had a very comfortable bed. Highly recommended!

Die Unterkunft hatte eine super Lage direkt beim Meer Boris war immer gut erreichbar und verständnisvoll Der Check-In war simpel und ist schnell gegangen Das Design/die Ausstattung passt perfekt für einen Urlaub am Meer.

Wir haben als Familie mit zwei Kindern (2 und 5 Jahre alt) ein paar Tage in Triest verbracht. Alessandros Wohnung war ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungen zu Fuß. Hierfür waren die ausführlichen Tipps, die Alessandro netterweise zusammengeschrieben hat, sehr hilfreich. Die Wohnung selbst ist ein absoluter Traum! Wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und geräumig. Für unsere Kinder gab es so viele nette Kleinigkeiten, wie Bücher und Spielsachen, die ihnen den Aufenthalt absolut versüßten. Aber alleine das kleine Zimmer, das man mit der Treppe erreichen kann und in dem man vom Dachfenster aus einen tollen Blick über Triest hat, war ein absolutes Highlight. Wir fühlten uns von der ersten Sekunde an, wie zu Hause! Dass es gleich nebenan eine Pizzeria gibt war ein weiterer Pluspunkt (manchmal muss der große Hunger schnell gestillt werden. ;-)). Aber auch die Ausstattung in der Küche war perfekt, um Essen zu kochen. Alles in allem eine absolut geniale Unterkunft!

The apartment is almost 5mins walking distance to Trieste Centrale train and bus station. There is elevator in the building. Federico was very responsive. We reached Trieste late after midnight and checkin was possible at that time. We requested a checkout for 1 hour later due to our bus journey in hot weather outside, he allowed it. We had comfortable sleep. Overall stay was comfortable.

Vi hadde en kjempefin uke i Claudio's leilighet, den er ikke kjempestor, men hadde alt vi trengte bortsett fra rødvinsglass. Veldig praktisk leilighet med bra a/c, god seng, nok håndklær, tørkesnor til badetøyet, og det var svært godt rengjort! Dessuten var det utrolig hyggelig å finne litt toast, pålegg, te, kaffe og vann etc. tilgjengelig, vi ankom leiligheten sent på kvelden og fikk ikke handlet noe. Trappa opp til leiligheten var lang, men det gikk absolutt lettere uten tunge kofferter. Instruksjonene vi mottok på video fra Claudio før vi ankom, var forklarende og hjelpsomme. Vi kan varmt anbefale leiligheten til andre som ønsker å oppleve Trieste!

This place exceeded all our expectations. It was absolutely spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—we slept so well every night. The outdoor area and garden were peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful views, making it the perfect place to relax. The location is ideal: just 10 minutes from Lake Bled, 20 minutes from Lake Bohinj, and 25 minutes from Triglav National Park. It’s a great base for exploring the natural beauty of the region. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Marija. She was warm, welcoming, and made us feel completely at home. She went above and beyond—offering tips, personalized itineraries, and tons of local insight. Her kindness and hospitality made our trip so much better than we ever imagined. Highly, highly recommend this gem—we can’t wait to come back!

Super lækker og tjekket lejlighed, men god placering 5 minutters gang fra centrum. Det eneste vi manglede var en emhætte, ellers var der bare super.

We had an amazing time at Maja’s place! Everything was just as described and on the pictures. The flat is decorated with so much love and still there is enough space for unpacking and storing your stuff. The campiello, where the apartment is located is just so beautiful and the location is perfect. Maja is extremely kind and taking care of everything one could need. The apartment is super clean and the beds are nice to get a good rest. I highly recommend this place and hope to come back soon.
