The apartments are located at a former US Coast Guard Loran C base at Gufuskálar. Gufuskálar has a rich history since first settlers came to Iceland over 1000 years ago. The views from the apartments are great with ocean view on one side and the lava fields and Snæfellsjökull Glacier on the other side. The house stands by the main-road and should, therefore, be easily accessible all year round. It is located 230 meters from the beautiful dock of Arnarstapi. A newly built porch stretches all around the house accessible from within the kitchen and the main entrance.
