We loved our stay at Figueiredo’s place. Perfect for us as a couple, with a private pool and deck to relax on in the evening. Quiet location within easy reach of Cascais, via Uber or a short walk, with its great food options. Communication was easy and everything was as described. Would highly recommend this place is you are looking for somewhere quiet near Cascais.

it was a great stay. in a good location close to the beach and close to the city. with a beautiful garden and a nice pool. we enjoyed ourselves! The owner was super helpful and gave us good tips!

Amazing place, the view is so incredible, we spent a really great time at the villa, it is peaceful, beautiful and private! If I come back to Portugal I would definitely want to come back! Thank you again for everything!

The property might lack kerb appeal from the front but the private outdoor space at the rear, with lovely views and with the bonus of a lovely small pool to cool off in on hot days is fabulous The accommodation itself was well equipped and a good size and also remained lovely and cool, no matter how hot it was outside. The location is good and you can walk down to the beach and many restaurants in about 10/15 minutes, although be prepared for a lot of stairs on the walk back up. Would definitely recommend.

nous avons choisi cette superbe maison pour passer un séjour mon épouse et moi avec une amie, son fils et sa belle-fille. Idéalement située, les photos de l’annonce parlent d’elle-même. Le salon est très confortable, la cuisine est parfaitement équipé, il ne manque rien. Le bbq est de très bonne qualité. La piscine est agréable et la vue sur l’océan et le coucher de soleil sont tous simplement à couper le souffle. Vous êtes accueillis par les hôtes qui vous font le tour du propriétaire pour finalement vous dire voilà, vous êtes chez vous avant de vous quitter. Lurdes et Luis sont charmants. Ils passent tout les trois jours en fin de journée pour arroser la végétation, prendre les poubelles et entretenir la piscine. Cela se fait très rapidement et il est possible d’échanger avec eux nombres d’informations. Ils parlent très bien le français. Les plages à moins de dix minutes en voiture sont magnifiques. Nous y reviendrons certainement.

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

Carla's house is simply spectacular, exactly like the photos, cozy, super clean, extremely equipped with everything we needed. Carla was super attentive since our first contact, always willing to help with whatever was needed, always available to answer questions! My family and I loved staying at her house and we will definitely stay there again when we return to Portugal! Thank you for everything Carla.

We had a wonderful stay! Just a short summary of pros and cons: + Antonio and Maria were great hosts - communication and help was excellent when needed. They brought fresh bread every morning which means less driving to the next town as a guest - fantastic! The house has an amazing view. which is almost unbeatable. The neighborhood is calm with no hotels/noise. - Compared to the fotos it was a bit smaller and older/with signs of normal use than we expected, but of course its sometimes difficult to tell by pictures. Since its southern Europe, be prepared for some insects (has nothing to do with the accommodation but might be helpful to know) - but Antonio and Maria had us prepared with some mosquito repellents and insecticide sprays. The lower bathroom has a strange smell when the drain hasn't been used regulary - but Antonio offered help immediately after we wold him and eventually it improved . All in all a great stay just with some small hints you should know - thank you again!

Sintra is a magical destination. So many people make it a day trip from Lisbon and, in so doing, miss out on the heart of this community. We were thrilled that Hugo and Laura provided this opportunity for us to more fully explore this amazing place. Their Casa das Rosas is exactly as described, very compact and usable. It takes a little getting used to the arrangement of floors with bedroom and shower on the top floor and bathroom and kitchen two floors below, but it works. Laura and Hugo are most gracious hosts and we received very clear instruction regarding parking, entry, use of space and departure. The welcome gifts were much appreciated as well. Great shower! Well equipped kitchen. We would recommend this place to anyone who is OK with climbing stairs.

Our host reached out from the start with enthusiasm for our stay. We were welcomed with special treats on arrival. There was a private porch for hanging out. The very wide, fine sand beach was just out the door and perfect for walking and building sand castles. The community was small and quiet not so busy in June. Still there were many great places to eat with friendly people working at them. A short drive to Sintra and other areas with great scenery. Great place to stay!

Duarte was a communicative, responsive and helpful host - we really appreciated this as there's only so much you can research online. The location of Casa da Encosta is magical, the fact you can't park outside makes it all the more special with no immediate road noise. The small terraced garden which surrounds the house is totally charming, offering plenty of little places to separate yourself from others should you wish and read a book or enjoy the view. Fixtures and fittings are of a high standard and the renovation executed thoughtfully. The feeling of being inside a jewelled box comes to mind. Yet it feels like someone's home and you feel welcome in it. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a remarkable region of Portugal. Thank you.

L’alloggio di Joao e Sandra è un gioiellino. Verrete calati immediatamente in un’atmosfera unica, in una casa con grande charme. L’alloggio è arredato con buon gusto e dispone di tutto il necessario per cucinare in casa, volendolo. I pasti principali vanno fatti fuori secondo noi, vasta scelta dappertutto. Letto molto comodo. Siamo stati accolti cordialmente e abbiamo ricevuto risposte veloci e precise ad ogni nostra domanda. Stazione a pochi minuti! Consigliamo vivamente questo alloggio e ringraziamo molto Joao e Sandra.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dieser ruhigen und idyllischen Unterkunft. Die Lage ist perfekt – ganz in der Nähe vom Strand und auch Lissabon ist schnell und unkompliziert zu erreichen. Die Gastgeberin ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Besonders dankbar sind wir ihr und ihrer Familie für die schnelle und herzliche Unterstützung, als sich unsere Tochter verletzt hat. Sie haben uns sofort geholfen, und man merkt, dass hier echtes Mitgefühl und Gastfreundschaft gelebt werden. Die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet – wirklich alles ist vorhanden, was man sich nur wünschen kann. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen – für alle, die Ruhe suchen, aber auch die Nähe zum Meer und zur Stadt schätzen. Vielen Dank für alles!

Es hat meiner Frau, meiner Tochter und mir sehr gut gefallen. Gab nur ne kleine Irritation bei der Anreise, die aber sofort gelöst wurde. Der kleine Innenhof ist toll. Wir waren sehr zufrieden! Danke

Ficámos completamente encantados com a estadia! A casa está num local super tranquilo, rodeada pela natureza, só se ouvem passarinhos e galinhas, o que torna tudo ainda mais relaxante. Estava tudo impecavelmente limpo e a casa tinha um cheirinho ótimo logo à chegada. A piscina é um verdadeiro paraíso, com água morninha graças ao sol que apanha o dia todo! A Patrícia foi incrível, super prestável e atenciosa. Deixou-nos um vinho e umas tapas de boas-vindas que nos souberam mesmo bem. Foram dias perfeitos, sem nada a apontar. Recomendamos a 100% e esperamos voltar em breve!

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in het huis van Dinis. Zeer prettig ontvangst en uistekende communciatie. De ligging van het huis is erg bijzonder met fantastisch uitzicht. We zijn 4 nachten verbleven en hebben genoten van alles wat de omgeving te bieden heeft. We hebben fantastische hikes gemaakt vanuit het huis naar Cabo de Roca. Wel een uitdagende hike met vele hoogtemeters met mooie uitzichten en stranden, zoals Praia da Ursa. Ook een hike naar het noorden naar het strand Paria do Gribeto. Ook een fantastisch strand waar je je even alleen op de wereld voelt. De afdaling naar het strand is wel écht een uitdaging. Heerlijk gegeten bij het restaurant Azenhas do Mar - Piscinas op nog geen 400 meter van het huis. Daarnaast lekkere verse vis gehaald bij de lokale markt en die heerlijk gegrild op de BBQ. Kortom, we hebben mega genoten van de rust, ruimte en alle uitzichten.

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft in traumhafter Landschaft. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben in dieser tollen Wohnung mit 100 % Erholungswert. Super nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin .

It was our best experience with Airbnb by far. Everything was just perfect: amazing views, well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, powerful shower, comfortable bed. Falling asleep to the sound and smell of the sea felt like the best feeling in the world! The host was super responsive, helpful and provided great recommendations of things to do in the area. Ik heb ontzettend genoten van het heerlijk rustige huis van Mariana. Van alles voorzien en schoon. Helemaal goed! Vooral de hangmatten zijn heerlijk om een hele middag in te doezelen en te lezend. In één woord fantastisch!

Очень понравилась квартира! Она расположена в красивом и спокойном месте с потрясающим видом на реку Тежу (или, возможно, океан — точно не уверена). Особенно порадовала просторная терраса, с которой открывается великолепный вид. Здесь приятно завтракать или ужинать, наслаждаясь атмосферой и тишиной. Локация отличная — тихо, уютно, всё необходимое рядом. Сама квартира светлая, чистая и очень комфортная, есть всё для удобного проживания. Рекомендую всем, кто ищет уютное жильё с прекрасным видом и спокойной атмосферой!

This was by far the best Airbnb we stayed in during our two weeks in Portugal. The space is so incredibly clean and beautiful. Like a little slice of paradise, with a sea view!! The hosts even provided snacks and beverages upon arrival. We felt very comfortable the entire time. Although the family lives on the property, they were quiet and friendly and made us feel very welcome. My only complaint is you have to communicate through a third party and they require an exact arrival time and they aren’t quick with replying to questions. I prefer to book self check-ins on Airbnb so we can take our time to travel around the country at leisure and not feel stressed about arriving at an exact time, but the third party company required an exact arrival time. So I found that a bit annoying. But the hosts themselves, who live on the property were lovely to communicate with. Highly recommend this space! 10/10

We had the best time staying here, Carlos was lovely and made us feel right at home. We are already talking about our next visit and will 100% be booking through Carlos again :)
