The couple, who returned to Pyeongchang from Seoul in 2024, run a restaurant and a guest house. We live on Hill 676 at the end of a village where nature is alive in Jidong-ri, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do. Hello? This is Pyeongchang-sok. The previous owner of this land built an observatory here but had to stop due to personal reasons. The village is also called Byeolcheonji Village, and when the weather is good, you can see about 500 stars. There are no houses around, let alone lights, and only we live in the mountains. There's only the sound of the wind, the sound of birds, the sound of leaves, the sound of you, the sound of me, and the sound of music. We lend you our leisure : ) We've just opened, so there's no great garden or anything to see, but We will wait while running a clean and tidy restaurant and bed and breakfast. I have records from when I decided to return to my hometown in 2023 and left home to look for land until now. I participated as the youngest member of the carpenter team and built the house together from the foundation to the carpenter's finishing. Free parking is available in the yard, and there is an outdoor dining area where you can experience barbecue with an electric grill (no charcoal/campfire due to the risk of wildfire). If you come with children, you can also try seasonal activities with the owner couple, who are like a rural grandmother and grandfather. The room is not large, so we recommend a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children. It's narrow for 3 or more adults. BBQ is available, and there is an additional charge of 20,000 KRW for charcoal on the grill. Handmade sandwiches and Americanos are served between 8am and 10am. Dogs allowed (up to 1, 10,000 KRW extra.) It is connected to the parking lot, so you can park right in front of the room, and it is free. Take it easy at this quiet getaway.
