Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Souss-Massa-Draa

An oasis away from the busy centre of Marrakech. The views were amazing from the gardens and pool, we loved sitting out there in the evenings. A local lady cooked for us and it was lovely, I’d recommend booking it. It was about 30/40 mins from the centre however, we didn’t have a car and were out in touch with a local taxi driver who was reliable and had a good rate. My young daughter loved the goats at the end of the garden and the tortoises roaming around. The village was peaceful and locals friendly. The local shop doesn’t sell much so I’d recommend stopping at the supermarket in the city before arriving.

Our stay was faultless. The riad is gorgeous and the host very attentive. The place was cleaned daily and the breakfast each morning was lovely. Would highly recommend and would also return.

Nathalie and Jean-Marc's Riad is a true haven of peace in a city that never sleeps! Very clean, functional, spacious and tastefully decorated, the Riad was ideal for a great stay. We did not have the pleasure of meeting Nathalie and Jean-Marc but they sent us messages regularly to see if everything was going well. And above all, we were received and accompanied throughout our stay by Fatima and Mohamed. They were very attentive to us and the children. Fatima's breakfasts and couscous were delicious. Mohamed welcomed us at the entrance to the medina, which is a labyrinth, and gave us valuable information to make our stay go well. Mohamed took us to beautiful places. Responsive and attentive to our wishes, he was able to find activities that appeal to both adults and children. They contributed greatly to the success of our stay. We came back delighted from the stay!

Everything about the riad was as described and lovely. It’s a short walk to the markets and shops. We had breakfast and dinner made by Mariam a few times and she was an absolute gem! The AC Works great and while there was 3 of us there, we never ran out of hot water. The bedrooms are a great size, especially the 2 on the second floor with a lot of room to spread out. The host arranged for us to be picked up from the airport and brought to the riad, which was so helpful. I think we would have gotten lost without that! He also arranged a car for us to get to the airport very early in the morning- again, VERY helpful. Colle was very responsive and even shared a list of recommendations upon check in.

We loved our stay at the Kashbar, it’s a beautiful villa with a great pool, we even had a bonus of some stray kittens! Due to location, you do need a car, it’s not far but is secluded and not really walking distance from much, the whole team were super friendly and helpful with local recommendations, taxis, car hire, food etc, we will definitely be back, we love Essaouira X thank you 🙏🏻

The property was so lovely and the staff were very accommodating. It is located really centrally in the Medina so was great for my friends and I to go sightseeing and get back easily. I even had a good running route for my morning 5km so that was a great bonus!! Would love to stay with Chris again on my next trip to Marrakech!

Oh, how I loved our stay! This is at the southern edge of the medina - just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle, but remarkably quiet. We had little birds join us by the breakfast room every morning, the roof terrace was lovely, and it all stayed *remarkably* cool (especially with the pool!) even in the intense Marrakech heat - tho the aircon in the bedroom was also very welcome! We were very well looked after and the breakfasts were outstanding. There was SO much food that we felt guilty about waste (maybe there could be some kind of menu that guests can choose from, so that it all gets eaten?!). It was absolutely yummy and we could skip lunch every day we were there because we were so full! The support we received was also incredibly helpful – Aziz organised taxis for us from the airport and also for a day trip to Essouira (strong recommend, btw!). It was a wonderful stay: a few steps from the beating heart of Marrakech, but a genuine oasis. Lovely memories. Thank you.

Wonderful host. Extremely helpful in every way. Riad itself is exactly as advertised. Just lovely. Their staff was super helpful in every way. Communication was perfect. Frankly, you cannot ask for anything more. If it is your first time in Marrakech, you should know that the appearance of the neighborhood is rather sketchy. But that is really more about Marrakech itself and the greater Medina area. Do not be put off by the appearance of the neighborhood. It's just the way it is. We never felt in danger in any way. I would highly recommend this Riad to any family.

I had an excellent experience staying at Samira’s flat. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and attentive to every detail. The flat was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect quiet, yet close to everything ❤️✨.

The apartment was very clean and cozy. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. You can get anywhere quickly and easily by taxi. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

Cozy and comfy place at 5 min from the medina and all touristy spots in Essaouira. Othman was an incredible and a very helpful host, he helped us with everything from the very begining to the end of our stay : Smooth Check-in & flexible check-out, helped us carrying our luggage, helpful restaurants recommandations and so much more ! we definitely recommend staying with Othman, you'll have your best time in Essaouira ☺️

Excellent location with spectacular views. Hosts were very responsive and helpful at every turn. The apartment was outfitted with lovely furniture that reflects the beauty and craftsmanship of Morrocco. The area was lively with evening entertainment close by. Lots of restaurant options with easy access to the beach. We'll definitely be back and would recommend to anyone!

If you are considering going to Taghazout, I could not recommend this apartment more. The location is right on the beach, less than a 2 minute walk to the beach, and right beside all the best restaurants. You have plenty of privacy as well. The apartment itself is perfect - the photos can’t do it justice but it has the most beautiful ocean view with all windows facing the sea. The balcony is stunning. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need and well supplied - we recommend picking up all your supplies in Agadir and you can cook to your hearts desire. Last (but not least), Dounia is the best host I have dealt with on this app. She is communicative, fast replier and can facilitate your every need; from airport transports to local recommendations- she was amazing from start to finish. The price of the apartment is well worth it. Taghazout, while it has gotten more popular, still remains a hidden gem and surfer’s paradise - I am certain myself and my girlfriend will both be back!

My wife and I had a simply wonderful stay in this accommodation. Very clean and fully functional in addition to being full of charm, it met our expectations in every way. No unpleasant surprises, everything was in line with what had been announced beforehand, so we were totally satisfied. The housing environment: we found it ideally located, in a pleasant, lively, totally safe neighborhood, with countless restaurants and shops nearby. The host: David is just like his accommodation, simply extra. In addition to being very responsive, he worked hard before our arrival to respond to a particular request from us, but also before our departure, to facilitate it as much as possible. The exchanges were smooth and very pleasant. We will certainly return to Marrakech and will not hesitate to stay at his place. Thank you for everything, David. :-)

I would like to thank Omar for his responsiveness. My girlfriend and I had a peaceful week in his host and above all he represented everything we agreed. Close to all our activities, restaurants, excursions... Omar is kind, friendly, welcoming, responsive to the second, very accommodating. I had a great time at this apartment in Agadir. The accommodation is very beautiful, clean and well decorated, exactly as in the photos. It is ideally located in the Marina, a good, secure neighborhood close to everything. The host was very kind, always attentive and available when needed. I highly recommend this accommodation and will not hesitate to return there during my next visit to Agadir!
