The house is nestled on a private farm next to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. It is located on top of the mountain with spectacular views of the Gulf of Nicoya and the best place to watch sunsets when the weather allows. It is a one bedroom non luxury house that was built by one of the first Quaker settlers in the Monteverde area. It is fully equipped with a kitchen, washing machine and dryer for the best comfort. We are in the cloud forest, be ready for weather changes and bugs.

Casa Mugango

Casa Mugango is in Cunha, in the Campos Novos district, about 25 km from the center, with 19 km of paved roads. It is located inside Cabanha Bocaina, a rural site. It is a refuge from the hustle and bustle, a calm environment with the proximity of Nature and country life. The house is surrounded by fragments of forest. Wild animals, insects, spiders and toads can be found, even with periodic fumigations. In the rainy season, we recommend a 4x4 vehicle.

Our Chalet is fully integrated with nature. It has large glass frames and the free look to Cerrado and mountains providing a spectacular view. Full kitchen, top-notch bed and bath linens, great heated shower, closet and bed with 5 star hotel mattress. There is a balcony with deck throughout the cabin ,with table and chairs outside so that guests can contemplate the nature and the starry sky of Chapada - drinking a wine, of course.
