Holiday rentals with an accessible-height toilet in South Asia

This was our first visit to Kashi, and I was there with my mom and younger sister. We enjoyed a lovely stay at Just Be Happy Homestay, which was just what we needed after discovering so much in Banaras. A big thank you to Akshay and his family for their assistance right from the start of our journey, from directing our auto-rickshaw driver to their homestay at 11 PM to sharing recommendations for more places to explore in this amazing city. Thank you!

My stay here was perfect. As a female and a foreigner, it is hard to find a place to stay in Multan and Ahsan's family house is probably the best option. It is also clean and very safe. Although it is far from the city centre, Ahsan will pick you up and drop you where you need to. He is a much understanding, mature and friendly person. He also helped us a lot with planning our trip, and we had good time and good talks with him. Don't look anywhere else if you need a place in Multan!

Arun has excellent communication skills. Arun is very professional with his guests. He explained everything to me after I reached his location. Arun is a retired air force personnel(not sure about his post). We had a great conversation about his work. He is also an artist. He has made wonderful paintings. There was construction work going on which blocked the path to the homestay. Arun picked up my suitcase till the apartment. Arun was extremely helpful and courteous. He made sponge Dosas for me which was very tasty. The bedroom was spacious. The kitchen had all amenities. Arun had also kept eggs, butter etc. for the guests in the fridge. I also liked the terrace of the homestay. Lots of beautiful plants, and enough space to dry your washed clothes. Amazing view from terrace. All in all, it was a beautiful experience. I wish to stay here longer when I come next time.

Idyllic location, great host, extreme value for money. Best Goa visit ever! First off, Mario is a great host. He was really helpful in getting the location. He also made the lunch for us when we arrived, and he's a great cook. He also had interesting stories to share. The place is a renovated ancestral villa. There are original stonewalls with the weathered rock still in place. It's very well equipped. There are mattresses and comforters etc. And the beds are arranged in three lofts and two rooms. The view from the upper deck is amazing. A few roofs around and then trees as far as the eye can see! We spent many an evening there, looking out at the unending expanse of trees that spreads as far out as the tallest hill in the distance and then the sky. Also, Chapora river is nearby. About 30 minutes walk. Or 5 minutes drive. The site is pristine and Mario can arrange for Kayaks. That was the best experience of Goa I'd had in all my visits (and that includes a Taj Exotica stay). The river channel is unbroken and serene. Can be a little tricky since it's not cemented. Lastly, again about the host - he kept the fridge full of things to eat and cook with. Also checked if anything was required. Can't praise the guy enough. We had a medical emergency on the last evening of our stay. His long experience of hospitality industry was critically useful. He arranged an ambulance for us and made sure we got good assistance timely. I wish more people would get to use his incredible expertise at hospitality. Now I know where to go next time I go to Goa. Some points to note :- The approach route can be a little tricky. For reference, remember - take a left at Lady Victory church, then right at Angel bunglow, and a right at the panchayat. There are dogs in the houses along the way which can be a little difficult at night. Carry a stick and a flashlight with you. And most importantly, when in doubt, call Mario!

Ambika is such a great host. Very friendly, helpful and responsive! Stayed here for a month and enjoyed every bit of it. The house is very clean, pet friendly and has good proximity to nearby market and restaurants! Overall I enjoyed the stay.

The eleven of us had a lovely time at Simrans place. Dubey, the caretaker, was very proactive in getting things sorted and any request we had. The staff were very friendly and the breakfasts cooked by the chef in the morning were delicious. The only slight improvement I would make is that it would be nice to have the bedding made once every few days/rooms gone over, but for the three nights we were there it wasn’t a big deal. The pool is amazing, even better than the pictures and the location is ideal, only a three minute walk from the beech. The rooms are all huge, and the showers work well. Wifi is good in certain areas so maybe the reach/strength could be improved, but we were there to get away from life so it didn’t matter so much. Overall great stay and if we every have a big group, we’ll be coming back for sure. Thank you for such a beautiful few days, you made it very hard to like anywhere else we stayed!

It was a place where the hosts went above and beyond to ensure we felt completely comfortable, a place where we were treated like family. They were always available whenever we needed any help or advice. Their property was a little paradise—our boys had a blast in the swimming pool, while we enjoyed relaxing outdoors with tea and sweet coconut pancakes. Above all, what I will miss most is the warmth and love of this beautiful family.

Fantastic apartment with all the amenities a family might require - from a washing machine, microwave, water heaters, water purifiers, clean bedsheets, blankets, etc. The best part of the experience was the housekeeper, Robi who goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and looked after. The security guards, Proshanto and Noyon are also very helpful resources to support your stay. You feel secure and comfortable - and the balcony has a really nice view too! Highly recommend.

The Place was beyond perfect. It was 2BHK and had all the amenities that you will need. It was situated close to the Rock Beach around 10 mins of walk. It truly felt like home. Hemlata has provided every possible assistance in every moment. Starting from Early checking, house maintainance, Bike Renting, Local transport etc etc. She is just a great human who treat you like her own guest. We are beyond happy to choose this place during our stay in Pondicherry and will definitely consider it again whenever we will come back again.

My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay here. The home was clean and comfortable, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a fabulous living room, deck, kitchen, washing machine, and hand washing station. We could cook our own meals, and the kitchen was well-supplied. Prashant and Anjili checked in regularly and were a great source of advice. They also organized complimentary fresh food for us daily - it was a very thoughtful touch and we appreciated it a lot! The beds were comfortable and there were extra linens if required. The home was well situated for visiting the Taj Mahal and surrounding areas. The home occupies the 6&7th floors of one part of the complex so we had roof-top views and didn’t have to worry about noise. We ate at the Bon Barbecue next door and the food was good and well-priced. We also shopped at the Vishal Market at the end of the street, as well as the Hypermart 1km away (walkable) and a fruit & veg market one street over. A fabulous spot! We would stay again.

Overall the place is great. Quiet and secure, zero outside noise since it's 2 streets away from the main road, at the end of a street where no one goes if they have no purpose there. I was able to check in at 2am since there's always someone at the reception. The room is way smaller in real life than in pictures due to the angles they used to take the pics but for a single traveller it isn't really a problem. The staff is very helpful and, contrary to some other airbnbs, actually clean the place correctly. All the amenities provided worked. There were a couple of powercuts but since this place has a generator they never last more than 10s. The one thing I didn't like as a European is how hard the bed was but in India, outside of hotels, it was to be expected.

Our stay in Bhavesh’s place was amazing. It had all the amenities we were looking for. The house was as it was mentioned in the pictures. It was clean n easily accessible as the host had sent the location very precisely. Bhavesh n Usha were exceptional hosts. They were always approachable n responsive. We did not have any difficulty. The market is walking distance. Zepto, Blinkit, Swiggy r easily accessible. Autorickshaw’s r easily available. The kitchen is fully equipped. It felt like home away from home. Thank u Mr Raj, Bhavesh n Usha for being such a wonderful host. Would highly recommend this place.

Debbie is a Perfect Airbnb host and can say that from the way the house is kept for guests like meticulous details about the house etc...Iam sure it must have come from her vast experience in handling different sorts of people. Though there was some confusion in confirming some details she was flexible enough to handle the situation very well.. I can go on and on. overall nice experience in staying at Debbies beautiful pothanur house and wishes for her to continue to host many people..

Stayed with 2 other people. Tamara was a great host. She was very helpful and communicative. She was particularly helpful as we navigated our airport cab driver who needed additional directions. You get what you see in the photos on the listing. A note for people with big bags or luggage: you will have to use stairs to get to the rooms (one room is on the 2nd floor along with the kitchen and dining, and the other two are on the 3rd) The rooms had towels and linens, comfy beds, although could do with a bit more dusting prior to people checking in. Tamara left bottled water for us in the fridge as well, which we appreciated. You will have all the basic necessities. While it's not a major issue, we were surprised by the open holes in the bathroom showers. They are high enough to give you privacy, but open out into the side of the building with no screen or cover. Overall, this is a good choice if you need a safe place to sleep and leave your things, as you explore Colombo.

The unit was same as described. Check in / out was very smooth . The host was very responsive and attended queries with priority . Wish to stay in future .

We really enjoyed our at the appartment. The host Jenifer was there to meet and at the arrival and showed us everything in detail which made us feel at home.

Had an excellent stay. Caretaker Mudit was great help and always very responsive. Property is secured with great location. Will be back again for sure
