House holiday rentals in South Launceston

We had the most beautiful 2-night stay at Chateau Clarence Point with our family from April 17th to 19th. The home was even better than the pictures—so spacious, clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Our little ones loved the playroom and all the space to run around, while the adults enjoyed the peaceful views of the Tamar River and cosy evenings by the fire pit. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook up some lovely family meals, and the whole house just had such a calm, welcoming feel to it. The hosts made sure everything was perfect for our stay. It was the perfect way to start our Tasmania trip—relaxing, comfortable, and full of lovely memories. Highly recommend this gem to anyone travelling with family or friends!

Beautiful bright airy open space. A mixture of historic features and updated to a modern fitout nicely done. We really enjoyed staying here. Lovely view over Launceston. A couple of coffee shops and a playground for kids was a short walk down High Street. Victoria and Ben were great hosts and they quickly resolved a minor issue for us with no fuss.

Had an amazing 3 night stay at the property. Hayley was super responsive when I needed to extend my stay by a night. The house itself is gorgeous and cosy and extremely clean and neat. Close to restaurants and cafes. Can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Amanda’s place is absolutely beautiful! Such lovely interiors and styling and Amanda was super helpful and fast on communication. We especially appreciated her organising cots and high chairs for us. Would definitely recommend staying here!!

Jen & Isaac’s place was lovely. It was well located, very clean and comfortable. It’s an easy walk down to the cafes on Charles St or even into town. The views from the dining room are stunning. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of staples and there’s a family room area and a separate lounge room with TV so it’s great for those with kids. Both bedrooms had hanging robes and the downstairs bedroom had its own toilet and direct access to the backyard. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely adored our stay at Maddison’s Airbnb. Maddison was able to accommodate an earlier check in for us- amazing when travelling with a toddler! Communication was prompt and easy The house is gorgeous, comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay here again!

What a great little find. Karen’s place is perfect in every way. From the charming appeal of a country cottage to the thoughtful touches through out. We are already planning our next escape there. The property is close to everything you’d want, with a comfy bed and great internet (important if you had to work like me). Thank you Karen for making our mini break so awesome.

The chapel is a lovely place to stay. Inside, it has everything you need, the decor is beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of room and a peaceful, warm ambience. We appreciated the fresh bread, butter, milk and other supplies, especially as we arrived quite late. The two outdoor decks were great for admiring the wonderful views. It was nice to meet Peter and Claire - thanks so much for taking the time to show us the other historic buildings on your property. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Great amenities with well stocked kitchen and fridge. Large open living space with nice views of the city. Bathrooms were very clean with great water pressure in both bathrooms/showers . Beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great week at Philippas place. My Labrador loved the dog bed, toys and the blankets. The house is super comfortable and the kitchen is kitted for every need I even baked a cake. So close to Launceston and tourist attractions. It gave Andy and I a welcome break from our caravan whilst waiting for our house to settle. Thank you

Lovely place to stay, everything you need as a base to explore around Launceston. Beautiful views from the living area and convenient short drive to the spectacular walks in Cataract Gorge and to the shops and restaurants in town.

This is the second time we've stayed at Petrina's accommodation and we felt right at home. The heating had kindly been turned on so that the place was toastie warm when we arrived. The house is really comfortable, with modern appliances, and is really clean. Importantly, the beds are super comfortable. Thanks again Petrina and Ellie!

We had a fabulous stay—Riverscape was stunning, beautifully appointed, and incredibly comfortable and welcoming. Beyond all the usual comforts, we were treated to thoughtful extras like a bottle of Tassie wine, delicious shortbread biscuits, and even a pillow spray to help us unwind for a restful night’s sleep.
