Such an amazing cottage and location! The pictures don’t do its justice, the cottage is even more beautiful in real life. The huge private beach is so peaceful and full of wildlife - we saw eagles, beavers, deers and lots of duck and geese (including babies). We had the best time with our toddler and would love to go back. Lynn was a great host and was very responsive. 10/10, we loved it!

This was our second time staying here. If you’re looking for a remote, rustic, peaceful stay - this is your place. But be prepared for a lot of mosquitoes. There were so many in fact that we couldn’t explore the property but the screened in porch with the wood stove was the highlight of our trip. We’ll book again. Mostly to say hello to the resident bunny who kept hanging around. We named him Roger in case you see him. Say hello from us.

Would definitely stay here again! It was way better then I imagined. Loved waking up and sitting out in the porch in front of the water, and the water was warm! Easy access for kayaks and the house was cozy. We felt at home and didn't want to leave!

This place was great and the scenery was beautiful. The hot tub was easy to use and the fire pit was well stocked. Did not get to take advantage of the lake but it was really peaceful and beautiful to wake up to in the morning. Would stay here again.

This countryside retreat was an absolute gem! You get the entire house to yourself, surrounded by a massive green lawn and a beautiful river flowing nearby. The huge living room window offers a stunning view of the water, trees, and distant mountains—it honestly feels like looking at a painting. The kitchen is fully equipped with all kinds of pots, pans, plates, and bowls, so you can easily cook up a delicious meal and enjoy it right outside on the grass under the open sky. There’s even a pavilion with a grill next to the house—if you’re a fan of barbecues, this place is a dream come true. Every corner of the home was full of surprises and charm. Five stars without a doubt—highly recommended!

The Loons Nest was lovely! Tastefully decorated, equipt with the essentials and relaxing surroundings. My favorite moment was waking early morning and walking onto the deck where there were nearly a dozen different bird songs being sung. Highly recommend!

We had a stellar stay here, and Danny was an incredibly friendly and communicative host. When our arrival was unexpectedly delayed by several hours, Danny was there to meet us in person to check in despite it being late at night. One night during our stay, he even invited us to a family bonfire. The cabin was very clean and well-apportioned, and its location along the river is lovely. Although it posed no issue for us, it’s worth noting that the cabin is in proximity to several RVs; however, we still felt that the cabin had privacy. Altogether, the experience was wonderful…and we certainly hope to return!
