Cottage holiday rentals in South-Western FInland

My family and I spent the weekend at Tuomas’s cottage, and it was one of the most memorable experiences we’ve had in a long time. The cottage and its surroundings are extraordinarily beautiful—a true retreat for unwinding after a hectic week in the city. Everything from the cozy atmosphere to the stunning scenery made it the perfect getaway. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

We spent a lovely 2 weeks at this cottage built right on the beach. It says a lot about being comfortable that we didn't leave the property the entire time except on sup boards and a boat on the lake side. We fully enjoyed a sip of the Finnish summer with saunas, swimming in the lake and hot tub, grilling, paddling, oning, logging or other games, cooking and sitting in the summer kitchen, including leaves (lots of Akuja and Science Photo Magazines at the cottage), or sitting in the sun. Tampere was nearby, so a few relatives and friends were able to visit well (overnight stay for an additional fee). The summer cookie (hot water)with its faucet was convenient (even though there was now a little water in the well). The level of equipment in the cottage was good and hospitable (coffee, toilet paper, etc., as well as a new oven, toaster, microwave, kettle, etc.), nice details (lights for summer kitchen). Pasi provided a lot of instructions ahead of time and was very reachable, very polite and friendly host as needed! Want to come again!

Very nice accomodation to stay with a group. Kitchen also very complete. Sauna and jacuzzis are very good also

Good cabin, with all the necessities to enjoy a staycation in somia. Anglers would benefit from electricity on the dock and a good place to clean fish! Thank you, we had a great stay.

Great rental property, the pictures don't even do the place justice! 😍 plenty of space in the main cabin with lofts, as well as in the sauna and yard cabin. The setting was beautiful and peaceful. Niklas kindly answered my many questions and gave good information about the place! Recommended!

A relaxed and peaceful place where you can find everything you need and a little more. The place was also cozy in rainy weather! In addition, we received friendly service and good instructions.

We felt very comfortable. The outdoor sanitary area is a bit cumbersome; but this was also described.

We immensely enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of early summer nature. In the beautiful old archipelago milieu, only the crackling of the fire in the nest could be heard as the parents fed them. Swimming and sauna, absolutely wonderful.

I have never seen so well written check in instructions, clear and complete. Makes life easy!

I stayed alone with my two children (5 and a half and a year old) in this place, and everything went perfectly. Everything was provided for them: crib, high chair, beach toys… The location is ideal, in the historic district, with parking spaces available just in front of the house. We were able to enjoy the garden shared with the host which was very nice. Within walking distance is the beach, shops, restaurants, and a playground. The washing machine is in the host's house, and Riikka took the time to explain how to use it. She was also adorable with my daughter, playing with her on several occasions — her kindness and dog have marked her a lot! She was also extremely responsive when I accidentally left the keys inside: in less than five minutes, she came to help me. A great relief! I highly recommend this listing

Beautiful beach in a natural location and really hospitable hosts!❤️ We spent a midsummer weekend in Keinuranta with old friends. We swam, saunaed, cycled in the surrounding area and enjoyed the barbecue. The cottage is spacious and well equipped, even though we arrived two guests more than we had originally thought. We especially liked the large covered terrace, where we could enjoy meals outside even on rainy days. Neighboring cottages with their docks are close, so the beach is not completely isolated or silent, but sufficiently peaceful. The host Karo was flexible and friendly when I announced the change in the number of people in our group, thanks for that. Karo and his brother also reacted amazingly quickly when we had a problem with the water pump. They generously compensated us for the inconvenience caused to the guests. Overall, a wonderful place and a successful weekend.

A lovely granny's cottage, where you could be completely in peace 👌 The cottage and the cottage's decor was charming, just like in a fairy tale. I wouldn't have been able to leave there ❤️ The instructions for using the cottage were clear and everything was easy and effortless. Recommended! 😊

Wonderful cabin by the lake, in the middle of the forest. A very peaceful place to rest and enjoy the authenticity of Finland. Anni was responsive and everything matched the description.

We had a fantastic week near Naantali, the place is beautiful, we especially loved the patio at the back and the fully equipped kitchen. It is also the perfect place if you are going for a mix of work and vacation, as one bedroom has a door and is pretty soundproof, I had to jump on a couple of zoom calls and my partner could just keep vacationing, which was great. Would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere really beautiful and peaceful to vacation. We did have a rental car, so I have no idea how this is by bus, but there was a bus stop right in front of the house.

We visited Anssi’s cottage with my parents, who are visiting us in Finland, to introduce them to the Finnish cottage culture. The experience was absolutely wonderful. The surroundings were incredibly quiet, and the sounds of birds chirping, the water, and the gentle wind created a wonderfully serene atmosphere. It made our stay even more special. The cottage itself is very well maintained and thoughtfully equipped with everything one might need. From kitchen essentials to grilling tools, everything was readily available. Booking was easy, and Anssi was incredibly friendly and responsive throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the private beach—it was absolutely charming. The shallow water made it very safe and enjoyable for our children as well. We enjoyed every moment and hope to return next summer. Highly recommended!

I loved my stay. Aleksandra's place is tucked among the trees, but it's situated so that that big gorgeous window lets in lots of sky and sunlight and offers a stunning view of the lake. It's exactly as she's described and everything you see here... but more, too, because she's such a lovely, thoughtful host. I can't say enough about the weeks I spent here. They were restful and punctuated by walks and sauna visits. Exactly what I'd hoped for. Now? I'm hoping to return!

Good accommodation by the lake. The lakeside sauna provided good steam and we enjoyed it for a long time! A great choice for a summer cottage trip!

Nice little cottage and just a wonderful place by the lake. Perfect for a couple's day out. The cottage had an outhouse and no running water, but these things were known and prepared for. The sauna was wood-fired (how wonderful) and there were working water systems. Water was pumped from the well with an electric pump and hose directly to the sauna and the water was heated with electricity. The terrace has a dining area and a good barbecue. The dock was nice, it was a good place to lounge and jump in for a swim. It was wonderfully peaceful and relaxing, and we saw a magnificent sunset. If there is anything to improve, then by cleaning the outside and the environment, the place would be even more beautiful. Päivi communicated accurately and always quickly, thanks for that!

The destination corresponded well to the description and vacationing on a private island was a unique experience☀️. The cottage was very clean and the property had everything you needed. Communication with Sadu worked flawlessly.
