Beautiful view!! I would highly recommend. We were able to fish within short walking distance of the house. The entire house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The game room was also a perfect addition to the space

The location is superb is you are trying to see Kentucky. The distance to Louisville, Lexington and Frankfort are all about equal. Shelbyville is a few miles away and it has some great restaurants and nice shopping. While staying there we visited Churchill Downs, Buffalo Trace and Shelbyville. The house has kayaks and a little fishing equipment. We spend a lot of time on the decks and fishing on the dock. This was a great, peaceful getaway from life at home.

This location was an excellent base for exploring the sites along the Bourbon Trail. Its central location made it convenient, and it provided a peaceful, quiet environment in the evenings when relaxing on the deck. The home was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Every year the grounds get more mature and beautiful!! The owners are always such a pleasure to interact with and the thought put into all the wonderful outdoor activities are remarkable! We do a large family glamping trip yearly, something we always look forward to!

The house was nice and had everything we needed. Our group was 3 couples and this was a perfect amount of space to hang for the evening.

This was a lovely country getaway. I had a fantastic time fishing, kayaking, and enjoying the lakefront. If you're looking for a quiet, low-key trip, this is a great choice.

Louisville exceeded our expectations and so did this home! Extremely spacious and well stocked for four adults and kids under 8. Lots of bathrooms and the beds were super comfy. Huge yard too! We’d definitely stay again!!

Myself and three friends stayed at the Stagg House during our visit to the bourbon trail. Private and peaceful location along the Kentucky river. Perfect place to stay during our visit to the area.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clean and cozy; in fact, “cozy” was what our guests said about the cabin. Incidentally, we had somewhat of a small family reunion during our stay. We will definitely plan another trip. Thank you!

We loved our stay here and Cliff was wonderful. We were three couples and there was plenty of room. This house is larger than it appears from the pictures. We had an issue with the gate code being different than what we were given but Cliff was instantly available, very nice, and got us in. It's a beautiful home and we'd stay there again. Very quiet, places to walk, and clean. I think if you switched the bunk beds with a Queen sized bed from downstairs it would be set up better for Adult couples. Thanks so much for our stay and we loved our Kentucky trip!

The place was nice peaceful with lots of things to do The pool was in walking distance. Boat launching ramp close by . My family and I really enjoyed our visit thank you

Meg goes above and beyond!!! Not only does she have the best view of the lake, the accommodations are impeccable from the screened in porch to the hot tub to the adorable kitchen and amazing sleeping accommodations!!! Every other cottage on Taylorsville pales in comparison!!! If you have not been, you need to check it out!!! There is a peacefulness and tranquillity that you immediately get as soon as you open the door to the #17.

The place was beautiful, peaceful, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was hot and ready for us and we could see the lake from the house. We enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen, soaking in the hot tub, and making our way to the lake to fish. We ate at Cattlemans Roadhouse nearby which was great as well. Great weekend getaway.

Loved the place. Loren was great to respond when I was booking. The house was perfect. We have stayed in the area before. Did have a problem with the hot water tank. She came up with a solution. Was able to finish our trip. thank you!

We had a great time at Edgewater Resort. It was a perfect spot for our group of 28 with several cottages right next to each other. This cottage was nice and clean and the host was very responsive with the couple of minor issues we had when we first arrived. Sleeping arrangements were just what we needed for our family and when the whole group wanted to be together, we had room to set up extra tables and chairs for meals and games. Our one regret was not being able to use the lake/marina due to recent flooding but we hope to return and try again. Very nice place!
