Apartment holiday rentals in St. Mary's County

We went to Southern Maryland to celebrate our 44th Wedding Anniversary as it was where we met back in high school. We were greeted at Tom & Michele’s place with a sweet chalkboard message, flowers and a nice little cake to help us feel special and celebrated. That was very kind. Their apartment is extremely clean and very comfortable. The backyard is absolutely beautiful and very relaxing. We didn’t need help with navigating the area as we grew up there so we spent most of our time visiting places from our youth. Tom & Michele reached out to us during our visit to make sure we were doing okay. We are quiet people and don’t require a lot of assistance so it was nice to be asked but we were good. For us it was nice to have a chance to spend quiet time alone together and Tom & Michele gave us that. Should we find ourselves back in Southern MD we would definitely stay there again. This was our second stay at Terri's lovely place. This sweet studio apartment is right in the heart of Solomons. You can walk to nearly anywhere you'd like to go--the Tiki Bar, Cryptic Pizza, and The Pier. And other great sites, such as CD Cafe and Coast 2 Coast Seafood Bar & Grill, are a quick drive. (Mind you, in cooler weather, you could probably walk to those sites as well, but we happened to visit in the midst of a heat wave.) Terri is very responsive and kind. She was flexible with check-in and check-out, and we were so grateful. This property also has a delightful deck for folks to enjoy. Again, we visited when it was as hot as Hades, but such is life. We've enjoyed the space and the proximity to all things Solomons. Thanks, Terri!

During my 6 month stay I had no isssues! Extremely friendly hosts, excellent value. Very cozy and comfortable studio apartment well equipped with anything you could need. If this listing is booked, check out there other "oasis" listings. Other Airbnb guests polite and friendly, very relaxing area. 1000/10 recommend! Thank you for an excellent stay!

Vickie and Scott were so welcoming and friendly. Respecting our privacy, yet nice conversations on our way in and out. The views, pier, and accommodations were exactly what was pictured and described. We will definitely be back. Location was only 10 minutes from downtown Leonardtown. Beautiful!

Our second time here! An absolutely adorable gem of an Airbnb with the nicest hosts and most beautiful garden and dock on the River! Great restaurant recommendations, super comfortable beds, and lovely living room. Perfect for families visiting the beloved St. Mary’s River.

We came in very late our 3 hour drive turned into 4 1/2 due to severe thunderstorms and heavy rain. It’s was our safe harbor. Solomans island is very beautiful. Unfortunately we misunderstood the check out time on top of we were waiting on a boat surveyor. The place was clean and close to many attractions and shops.

I had a fantastic stay! The space was so cozy and comfortable. I loved the surrounds outside as well, it felt like a secret garden and was so serene and peaceful. I can’t say enough good things about this space. I’d absolutely love to visit again! Julie was wonderful too, she provided clear instructions and really thought of everything! The guest book was thorough and so were her messages. No guess work necessary which is so appreciated!

So very peaceful. Loved watching the birds fly off an on to the neighboring pier. Fit our needs perfectly and with the well stocked kitchen we were able to prepare our Thanksgiving meal.

We had a great stay in Maryland, made all the better by Kurt and Marilyn's great hosting. Their basement apartment has everything you'd need for a beautiful and relaxing stay. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen felt new and well thought out and overall the appartment was spacious yet homely. From the moment you get out of the car you know that they've put a lot of thought into this airbnb and worked to make it feel like a home. One of our favourite bits was the daffodil lined path, past the trees to the door. Every time we went in and out, seeing rabbits and squirrels on our way past and hearing the birds up above was so relaxing. Finally we would add that having hosts on-site means was an added bonus as any issues are quickly responded to and well managed. Plus they had great recommendations for where to go and what to see, was lovely to meet them. Would definitely stay there again if we're back in the area.

Perhaps the most serene place I've ever been! Sits on a small cove which leads out to the Patuxent River. There's a dock over the water with lounge chairs where I just melted all my troubles away. Or just sit on the patio overlooking it all. Perfect host, wonderful place to stay. I plan to return.

I visited for a short mother/daughter trip with my 6-year old. This is the BEST place for kids! My daughter loved waking up and visiting the goats and other farm animals every morning, and there are lots of places nearby to look for fossils and explore. Aimee also left us delicious goodies, including freshly baked bagels and homemade jam! The place itself is also extremely spacious and clean.

Fantastic place. Welcoming. They thought of everything and more. Linens. Coffee. Electric fireplace. Laundry with iron and board. Toiletries. Glorious fragrance. High ceilings for a basement! Can’t say enough nice things about the place inside and out. Coming back as soon as I can.

Sheila was a great host! She greeted us upon arrival, and left lots of helpful signage and instructions around the place, along with many recommendations for local restaurants and things to do during our stay. Gerry was also very friendly! This location was the cleanest airBNB we have ever stayed at. Although our stay was short, we had a great one! Check in and check out were also very easy. We would definitely stay at Sheila’s location again! It gave us the perfect location to do some fossil hunting and see some of Maryland’s beaches, and whenever we feel like doing more of that, we will be back!
