Utstein Lodge is beautifully located down by Klostervågen at Utstein Farm. The farm surrounds Utstein Monastery and constitutes the majority of the island of Utstein. Utstein is a protected cultural environment and has a special national value with the cultural-historical, landscape and agricultural elements that give the area its special character. At Utstein there are animals on the farmland and cultural pasture all year round and limited access to traffic. It is possible to see/participate in the farm operations. There are many hiking opportunities, short distance to Preikestolen and Kjerag.

Charming house by the lake, Bakkevig Gard Nedstrand

The house is west facing with a view of the lake and only a few meters down to the lake shore. Below the house is a nice, spacious garden and on the upper side lawn up to the road. The house was built around 1970, and has a slightly retro style. The kitchen was renovated in 2024 and there is a new floor in the kitchen/living room and new windows facing south. New roof is under planning. It is possible to rent a boat and kayaks for trips on the fjord in the local area. Otherwise, there are many nice hiking opportunities on foot both in the local area and the district otherwise.

The home is located right by the hiking trail in Hafrsfjord, where you can walk, cycle or run along the entire fjord where the Viking king Harald Hårfarge won the battle in Hafrsfjord and united Norway into one kingdom. The accommodation is located by the lake, with opportunities for swimming and other water activities. Short distance to Stavanger city center by bus and car. Sleeps 7 adults, one child and two babies in a crib. It is possible to have 8 adults, but then two people must share a bed of 120 cm.

New and cozy studio apartment. The apartment has a large bathroom and is located right by the fjord and Viking Stadium, and is a short distance from the new hospital. The train station and a shopping center with restaurants are a two-minute walk away. It takes 8 minutes by train to reach Stavanger city center and 10 minutes to reach Sandnes. Approximately 15 minutes' drive to the airport. The apartment is located in the house we live in. It has its own entrance, and there is parking right outside. Want to take a kayak trip on the fjord? Cozy cabin on beautiful Byre.

Welcome to Byre. Byre is a small island with 4 families and just under 100 cabins. The island is not connected to the mainland, but has access to both ferry and express boat. The cabin is located about 300 m from the quay, so here it is possible to come both with and without a car. There is a hiking trail around the island and there are several bathing opportunities. There is no store on the island, but in the summer there is a small farm sale with organic vegetables. Remember to shop for everything you need before you travel in.

Cabin by Preikestolen in Forsand

Cozy cabin right at the edge of the lake with beautiful sunrise. Feel free to take the morning bath at the meals on the terrace with a lovely view of the fjord. The cabin is centrally located whether you want to spend the days shopping, fishing or go on amazing mountain trips such as Preikestolen, Kjerag and Flørlitrappene. There are also many other marked hiking trails in the immediate area such as Uburen, Hatten, Hesten, Skjerajuvet, etc. Beach, Forsand with shop, Landa ancient village just nearby.

The cottage is quiet and idyllic located, about 35 minutes from the city, a great starting point for trips in the area, at sea, on foot or by bike. It is located in scenic surroundings with stunning panoramic views and a short way to the beach. You have to walk about 100m in terrain from the parking lot. ( Some may find it steep.) You also get access to the boathouse with a small living room and private beach. Motor boat and 2kajaks. The beautiful photos in the cabin are for sale.
