Family-friendly holiday rentals in Stichtse Vecht

The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

This is such a special place! We absolutely loved our stay - it was the perfect place to unwind, slow down and be still. Rob was a great host and made us feel really at home . I highly recommend staying in Robs house and we’re keen to return!!

Federica and Ladislao were absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process. Responsive, accommodating and flexible with check-in and check-out times. The place itself was huge, very unique and homey. We spent most of our time in the garden, which was very charming, shaded and private. The living room had a large skylight that brightened the whole place. The room was packed with a variety of plants that also gave the house a great atmosphere. We also loved the industrial kitchen! Location was also great. Central yet quiet and peaceful. Plenty of great bars and restaurants around, and just a 10 minute walk from the museum district. Overall was a great stay! Highly recommended for a group of friends or a family.

Manuel's place was such a beautiful home. We loved the lush green view from the window every time we walked into the living room. The place was sun-filled and airy, and it felt nice to sit on the couch and relax. The location was superb, in a quiet and trendy suburb full of cute cafes and lovely children's parks. Manuel was an excellent communicator. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser großzügigen und gemütlichen Villa in Utrecht. Die Wohnung strahlt eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre aus und ist perfekt ausgestattet. Utrecht hat viel zu bieten, und von der Unterkunft aus ist vieles fußläufig, mit dem Fahrrad oder dem Auto leicht zu erreichen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber dennoch nahe an allem, was man braucht. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

We had a wonderful holiday in Moniek’s beautiful house. We were so comfortable and relaxed as Moniek provided everything we could need. There were lots of lovely, stylish extras in her house too that made our stay feel special. The neighbourhood is great; quiet, peaceful and full of beautiful views of boats, beaches parks, nature and water. Yet there is also loads to do with teenagers, being so close to Amsterdam, Ajax and Delft. Almere is the perfect place to explore by cycling. The week went so quickly. Moniek was very helpful in giving useful and detailed info and in answering questions quickly. I would 100% highly recommend this AirBnB to others.

Hôte très réactif réponse dans la minute, maison très spacieuse et conforme à la description. Seul point négatif les environs direct avec la maison elle est collé a un entrepôt, un espace public ou un club je ne sais pas ce que c’était mais il y avait du monde, c’était assez bruyant la nuit et ils ont accès à notre terrasse s’il le souhaite pas très rassurant nous avons trouvé. De plus quand nous sommes arrivés une voiture garé à côté de notre emplacement avait le pare brise arrière cassé tout les morceaux de verre était sur nos places de parking.. le lendemain un voisin est venu nous voir il a dû appeler la police car quelqu un avait cassé et fait tombé son portail environnement pas très sécurisant j’aurai aimé le savoir dans les commentaires avant de réserver ce logement.

My girlfriend and I spent four unforgettable weeks at Heleen’s place. The house sits in a quiet village between Amsterdam and Utrecht, and the back garden opens onto an open view of Vinkeveen’s fields. Absolutely gorgeous! Heleen and her partner were exceptionally thoughtful hosts. They answered every question promptly, and Heleen even volunteered to collect us from Breukelen station and later drove us to our next accommodation. Although there’s no washing machine on-site, she kindly offered to do our laundry once a week at no extra cost. A few practical points to keep in mind: • The nearest supermarket is about a 20-minute bike ride away. • When the temperature dips below 20 °C and the sun isn’t out, the room can feel a bit chilly. • The sofa carries a faint damp, musty smell. Aside from these small drawbacks, our stay was wonderful. Peaceful countryside surroundings, stunning views, and warm, accommodating hosts. I can definitely recommend!

Great stay and Maurits is an amazing host.

The lodge is very lovely, Michel & Josephine are very kind hosts! The communication was also very good. We could spend 4 relaxing days with a group of 6 people and a dog. Excellent place for a getaway from the busy cities.

Mooie lokatie, zeer geschikt voor een familiebezoek met ouderen en (klein)kinderen. Leuk gelegen langs het water dus we konden zwemmen, voetballen en zelfs met de sub varen. Iedereen was na afloop van 3 dagen samenzijn zeer tevreden.

Wir hatten 4 sehr schöne Tage in der idyllischen Umgebung und dem sehr schönen Haus. Wir waren dort zu fünf und hatten auch einen Hund dabei. Das hat alles super gepasst. Auch mit dem Boot zum Häuschen fahren und die Gegend erkunden hat richtig Spaß gemacht. Wir würden auf jeden Fall gerne mal wieder kommen. Liebe Grüße und vielen Dank. Familie Winkler

Heerlijk klein huis aan het water. Echt buiten zijn en toch binnen 20 minuten in Amsterdam.

Heleen's place is located in a beautiful, peaceful place and the cottage is great, even better than the pictures. Surrounded by gardens, canals and lots of nature, is ideal for relaxing and exploring nature around. The cottage is big, comfortable, super clean and has lovely gardens around. Only 8 minutes by car there is the Breukelen's train station from where you can reach easily Utrecht, Amsterdam and other locations. I stayed for a month and if I could have, I'd have stayed longer. Heleen is very helpful and knows everything about the area, giving tips about restaurants, shops, walk trails, and other amenities you can find around. A very fast internet and a free parking space in front of the house are a big plus. Highly recommended!

The house boat was just as it looked in the pictures! It was very spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. It was perfect how the kids sort of had their side, or wing, and my husband and I had our space in the master bedroom, on the other side. We all slept very well! We loved the cats, Skip & Bo. We are animal people, so it was fun having them come and go, and socialize and snuggle with us! The views were amazing and there were plenty of spots to just chill when we weren't out exploring. The house boat was very walkable to many fun spots and different areas. We definitely felt like we were staying in someone's home versus a rental. Enjoyed all of the personal touches in the kitchen as well! We would go back in a heartbeat and recommend Joost's place without hesitation!

Très belle maison vaste avec un extérieur sympa donnant sur le canal, terrasse à la sortie de la salle de vie et ponton sur l'eau. Accès à la gare centrale direct (20mn) avec le tramway qui part à 100 m de la maison et revient juste en face. Très belles chambres et place de parking au sous-sol. Je recommande.

The house was exactly as described. The location is amazing, and the patio is out of this world. We had a great time!

È andato tutto molto bene. Il posto è incantevole e la posizione perfetta per visitare l'Olanda. Non perdete tempo a cercare altri alloggi ma andate da Marcel.

Steven was absolutely amazing! The boat is lovely and well situated and he went absolutely above and beyond to help us out on our stay - he even brought us out on his tugboat for a test run! Could not recommend enough thank you so much for our stay 😊😊

Couldnt fault the tiny house. We felt so far away from the world, yet on the doorstep to everything. Nancy couldnt of been more helpful. Anything we needed was answered. The chickens were a bonus.

Great mix between a very livable place to stay and a bucket list experience. Easy to cook, quiet nights, cozy! We stayed 10 days and enjoyed Utrecht as our NL base. Responsive and nice host, who has great info and recommendations in her guest book. Easy (25-min walk) to get to the historic center. Host also provided 2 city bikes, making it so easy to get around. We came by car but didn't need to use it due to walkability of everything. Houseboat is very well designed - it's small but there is organized and efficient space for everything you might need, without sacrificing hominess. Woodstove with plenty of wood and the huge windows overlooking the water make for a very serene stay. We're full time travelers by car in EU/UK/Balkans for over 4 years
