Welcome to our Scandinavian design cottage in a beautiful forest environment in Sörmland– Decorated in wood with high ceilings, large windows and a quiet location at Jägarskogen Nature Reserve. A few minutes' walk from Sörmlandsleden and Lake Yngen. 6 beds, two bedrooms and a sofa bed. Large social areas. Fully-equipped kitchen, perfect for those who want to cook their own meals, bathroom with washing machine. Patio with barbecue grill. Nature right outside the door – but only 30 minutes to Stockholm by train.

Within the same distance, you also have access to the small town's harbor with a few restaurants to choose from. It is a beautiful environment where you can take a walk, a bike ride or swim in Lake Mälaren. Magasinet is separate from the host's home, with its own driveway. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet, or visit all the exciting sights in Mariefred or Strängnäs.

Kura upp dig i soffan framför brasan eller utforska fina motionslingor jämns med vattnet, där det även finns utegym, frisbeegolf och boulbana. På tomten så har jag ett litet hus som jag ibland tillbringar tid i. Välkomna hit 💫

Dining area and sofa in living room. TV with Chromecast. Simple kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, hotplate, oven, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. Own patio and parking at the house. 300 m to public transport. Bedroom with a 160 cm double bed. Sleeping area in living room three 90 cm beds.

Located centrally in the cultural district and close to Lake Mälaren. Access to garden furniture. 7-minute walk from the station and city center. 85 km from Stockholm, where you can easily take the train in 48 minutes with Mälartåg. A place to stay suitable for overnight stays and simple cooking.

Minihus i Mariefred

A simple little house where you can sleep and prepare basic meals while enjoying everything that Mariefred has to offer. The house is only 15 sqm, so it’s small but cozy. There is a bed that is 140 cm wide, a small writing desk with a chair, and a small table with two stools. There is a TV with Netflix, Telia Play, and Disney+. There is also a small kitchenette with two hotplates and a portable fan. Parking is available on the street outside or elsewhere nearby.

Wrap your day up with dinner and wine in the spacious kitchen, before you crash on the couch, slumbering to the crackling sounds of the fireplace.

Welcome to our bohemian cottage at Oppgården! We are very happy that you have chosen to rent our little cottage outside Strängnäs, Swedish idyll is probably the right description. Our first guest used the cottage as a writing retreat for a documentary. The couple who came after wanted to visit the Swedish countryside and hoped to see bears (note: there are no bears here). A third to recover and land in silence. What are your needs?

Historical idyll from the 1600s

Welcome to our carefully renovated house from the 1600s! Here you live next to Strängnäs Cathedral and have the city center nearby. Our charming house also has an exciting story to tell. The house has had the privilege of being included in the popular history and building conservation program on TV, SVT "Det sitter i väggarna" in the fall of 2023. Of course, cleaning, bed linens, towels and coffee and tea are included.

The guest house is situated in central Strängnäs, on the street Gyllenhjelmsgatan that lead up to the cathedral. This street is commonly known as "The most beautiful street in Sweden". The house is from early 1800's and well kept in it's charm. During the summer guests have access to a patio in the garden.
