You can lie in the bathtub and look out over the horizon, and have your morning coffee in bed while watching the waves hit the swamp in the garden. It takes 5-7 minutes to drive to Pulpit Rock Camp, 5 minutes to the center of Jørpeland and 30 minutes to Stavanger city center.

Welcome to idyllic Kvalvåg and our great cabin! Here the whole family can stay comfortably in a newer and spacious cabin with all amenities. Good hiking areas in the nearby area and a kurt walk down to the sea where there is a small sandy beach and jetty for fishing. There is a driveway all the way up to the cabin. 20 minutes drive away you will find Jørpeland with a good selection of shops and restaurants. Same driving distance to go to Pulpit Rock. We will do everything we can to ensure that you have a nice stay!

(20min by car to Pulpitrock hike start) Folding door at the front and two large sliding doors give the option to open up to nature outside. Fishing and bathing opportunities only 120m from the cabin. Wood-burning stove inside and outdoor wood fireplace. All bedrooms have light-proof sun shading.

Cozy garden living room access. Access to gas barbecue in spring and summer. TV living room in annex. It is a drive of about 25 minutes to Preikestolen parking. The nearest town is Jørpeland. It is about 20 minutes by car. Here you will find various food shops and restaurants. It is about 50 minutes by car to Stavanger.

The house is well equipped in all rooms. The house is located only 7 km from the starting point of the Pulpit Rock trail. It is a 5 minutes drive from Jørpeland, wich is the town center in this area. From the house it is a 10 minutes drive to the ferrydock in Forsand, where there is ferry connection to Lysebotn.

Good swimming opportunities both in the sea and river. Central location. 2 min walk to bus to/from Stavanger. 5 min walk to Jørpeland center. 10 min drive to Pulpit Rock parking. One double bed. Possibility of two field beds for children in addition. The landlord must be a minimum of 2 nights.

Gamlahuset by the sea - close to Stavanger

"Gamlahuset" fra cirka 1880 leies ut. Huset ligger på et lite gårdstun i Gardsvågen på Talgje, 100 meter fra sjøen. Her er det badestrand, og det går turløyper rundt nesten hele øya. Fra Gardsvågen er det 1 km til hurtigbåtkai. Herfra er det 20-50 min med hurtigbåt til Stavanger. Det er 35 minutt med bil til Stavanger sentrum. På Talgje er det også muligheter for frisbeegolf og badstuutleige (Anker Gaard) og det er sandvolleyballbane 1 km fra huset.
