The village has, among other things, a Nordlyssenter, a grocery store and café. Lots of nice swimming areas. It is about 30 min to Svolvær, 1 h 40 min to Leknes. Great hiking and fishing opportunities close to the cabin. Short way to the ferry that goes over to Vesterålen.
