Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Streymoy

Vi havde nogle fantastiske dage i det hyggelige hus i Seletrað. Der er en rummelig stue med smuk udsigt. Huset og faciliteterne er gode, særligt hvis man rejser med mindre børn.

Wir waren für eine Woche zu Gast in diesem schön ausgebauten Bootshaus. Die Lage in der Mitte der Färöer ist unschlagbar, von hier aus kann man mit dem Auto wunderbar das ganze Land erkunden! Es war einfach super gemütlich, ruhig und erholsam hier. Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben und alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich. wir waren auch sehr froh über Waschmaschine und Trockner, das findet man nicht überall. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war immer sehr freundlich, informativ und schnell. Wir können die Unterkunft sowie Maria und Pol als Gastgeber nur empfehlen und würden auf jeden Fall nochmal kommen.

Great location next to the ferry and a fine view. Quiet, with a small waterfall out the front door. Easy access to Kallur Lighthouse, Mikladalur, and other locations on Kalsoy. Steep ladder to rooms could be an issue with large, heavy suitcases. The rate was a little high, but understandable given the location and available accommodations elsewhere on the island. Would easily rebook on return.

Dagmar's house in Eiði was lovely. It's centrally located in the village, just opposite the town church. There's a convenient parking spot right out front. The interior was nicely decorated, and the house works well for a single traveler such as myself; it also, however, would work well for larger groups or families, as there are multiple bedrooms. This was a great place to stay while exploring the northern Faroes!

Die Lage des Hauses war sehr zentral, sehr ruhiges, kleines Dorf. Die Straßen vor der Unterkunft waren fantastisch zum Rad fahren mit tollen Aussichten. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche mit allem was man braucht. Der Blick aus dem Erker immer wieder faszinierend- je nach Licht und Wetter. Der Balkon mit etwas Sonne sofort kuschelig zum Sitzen. Einfach toll!

Belle ancienne maison idéalement située dans un environnement très calme. La vue est spectaculaire et la situation de la maison permet de visiter la majeure partie des Îles Féroé. La maison était très propre et très bien équipée. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Magnificent home right in key bit of Torshavn - lovely traditional house overlooking the main harbour. Minutes to walk to best coffee shop and restaurants- parking nearby works well. There couldn’t be a better place to stay in the Faroe Islands, we can’t recommend it enough. Additionally Marna and Matras tipped us off about the imminent arrival of the king and queen’s first royal visit to Torshavn and they parked their yacht right in front of the house. We felt very privileged to be staying in the best place. Lovely house and hosts

Beautiful apartment right in the heart of Torshavn. Walking distance to restaurants, old town, and parliament with views of the marina. Plenty of parking available in the area but not at the apartment itself. There is a narrow staircase up to the third floor which is where you stay. We loved our stay here and would recommend to anyone staying in Torshavn

The neighborhood was nice, and it was an easy walk to the bus stop. Their dog was friendly too!

Wir sind 2 Motorradfahrer und nutzen Sunneva Wohnung 3 Tage als unser "Basislager". Die Wohnung befindet sich im Keller und ist komplett ausgestattet. Wir freuten uns über sehr gute bequeme große Betten. Für Familien mit einem kleinen Kind wäre sogar ein Kinderbett da. Die Küche war mit allem ausgestattet, sodass man sich selbst verpflegen kann. WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei in der Küche und Wohnzimmer. In den Schlafzimmern bedingt. Unsere Motorräder konnten wir direkt vor dem Eingang parken. Wir fanden, es waren 3 sehr schöne Tage hier gewesen. Vielen Dank sagen Jörg & Gerald aus Sachsen/Deutschland

We loved our stay here in Tórshavn! The place was extremely comfortable and cozy, and was within walking distance of everything we needed. Parking was easy and we had no issues while staying in town and exploring other islands during the day. The hosts were extremely friendly!

Rigtig dejlig stor og hyggelig lejlighed. Mulighed for skønne gåturer i nærheden, samtidig med at boligen ligger tæt ved Thorshavn. Gudrid tog imod os med åbne arme, viste rundt i lejligheden. På køkkenbordet stod et friskt franskbrød og marmelade, i køleskabet var der ost, smør, mælk og juice. Vi var i lejligheden i 9 dage, Gudrid og Jensen var behjælpelige og interesseret i hvad vi oplevede uden at vær påtrængende. En rigtig skøn ferie, hvor vi nåede næsten en hver afkrog af Færøerne. Vores varmeste anbefaling

Perfect location with great hosts. The apartment is very convenient for a family. The weather was not for the outdoor pleasure but there was a beautiful set up with table and chairs. We will definitely recommend and return if possible. All the very best from the Perraud family.

Everything we needed and we were quite comfortable. Stores were near and Hilmar was very responsive and helpful. So enjoyed talking to him and getting a sense of the lovely FI and people. Can't beat the view out the window every morning, and the bedroom was dark enough for those that aren't used to the midnight sun! Located right outside tunnel from Streymoy/Torshavn so ideally located for our daily visits to other islands. Hope to be back!

Andreas est un hôte très agréable et très accueillant. De nombreuses informations sont fournies. Le logement est extraordinaire, méticuleusement propre, avec une magnifique décoration moderne et haut de gamme. Les photos sont conformes à la réalité. La vue est magique, à couper le souffle et le calme règne autour. Ce fut un très joli séjour, merci !

Eine absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, die nicht nur alles Notwendige aufweist, sondern darüber hinaus z.B. über Spülmaschine und Backofen verfügt. Zudem ist die Einrichtung nicht nur tadellos, sondern sehr geschmackvoll. Folglich kann man sich nur wie zu Hause fühlen.

very cute, great location, super clean, easy to access and amazing view. The only down side was we had a hard time keeping hot water in the shower but the kitchen always had hot water...wasn't that big of a deal for us though.

Io e mia moglie abbiamo trascorso 6 giorni in questo splendido appartamento. Molto pulito e funzionale. Tanto spazio, Cucina ben attrezzata, tanti elettrodomestici, una grande Smart TV, ma soprattutto vista stupenda. La posizione è ottima per visitare le Isole Faroe, in poco tempo si può raggiungere la capitale è tutte le isole. Non ci sono molti ristoranti vicino, per quelli bisogna spostarsi nella capitale che comunque dista solo 30 minuti. A 10 minuti c’è un supermercato ben fornito. Raccomandiamo questo appartamento a tutti quelli che vogliono godersi la pace delle Isole Faroe con una posizione strategica ma anche super tranquilla.

The place is very near to many tourist attractions in Vágar as well as the airport. The location is very good, it is near to petrol station, supermarket and restaurant. The stay also comes with a car which is very cost-efficient and convenient. The ventilation of the room can be improved, but overall it’s a very good place.

We only stayed here one night, but the place was lovely with a view of the water, which was great! It was spacious and the bed was comfortable! It was easy walking distance to shops and restaurants and would definitely stay again if we find ourselves traveling here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment. The apartment was beautiful and well-stocked with everything we could need. We especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen. There were multiple grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. We also appreciated being able to do our laundry after a day of hiking. I would absolutely recommend this for your stay in the Faroe Islands!
