Great stay! Very nice house, very bright and in accordance with the photos, with beautiful decoration and very well equipped. The village is lovely. (Too bad the outside of the neighboring house is a dump)

Discover the Faroe Islands on wheels

BartoszRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Renting this Camper, it was the best accommodation option in the Faroe Islands, every night in a different place allowed us to visit this beautiful land. The Camper can be reached by bus from the airport + 5 minutes walk. Fully equipped, including warm linens, towels, cleaning supplies, vacuum cleaner, sun loungers, an equipped kitchen with spices, olive oil, sugar. IT HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED ! It was a wonderful time in the Faroe Islands!

Apartment 50 m2. Kollafjørđur

LucaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
A perfect base for exploring the central islands of Streymoy and Eysturoy! You’re never more than 30 minutes from Tórshavn, or even the northernmost villages. The apartment was spotless and well equipped - we had everything we needed. Doing laundry was a breeze, with both a tumble dryer and plenty of drying racks available. There’s a local supermarket just five minutes away by car, which was super convenient. The living room was a cozy spot to relax after a long day out, and the bed was very comfortable. All in all, the best place in my opinion for exploring the main islands. I’d happily stay at Dagfinn’s place again!

Cozy Traditional Faroese House Next to the River

NicolaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We are happy to have stayed in this house for a unique experience that made us jump through time and space. Arriving in the Faroe Islands was like being transported to another dimension, staying in Marianna's house helps to rediscover the charm of a forgotten time. A warm and enveloping environment where even the creaking of the floorboards makes you feel good. The house is in a beautiful and quiet location. Logistically in a strategic position to reach all the locations of the Faroe Islands. There is everything you need to feel good and to feel part of the fantastic world of these islands. Finally, a healthy and fair spirit of adaptation is necessary: access to the bathroom from a hatch is not entirely easy and the height of the bathroom ceiling is less than 1.75m. That said, I'm 1.80 tall, but I'd definitely go back...

“Sjógylt” Historic beach house with spa in Vestmanna

Absolutely stunning views and peaceful environment. The house was easily found and entry so smooth. To come from as far as Australia and find a cosy place in the Faeroes with great amenties and such a comfortable place to stay was fabulous. Well appointed, lovely kictchen, living areas, sleeping areas and views to die for - it was just what we wanted. Kristgunn was a wonderful host, and even asked ahead of time if we wanted the hot tub heated. We did, and a couple of evenings relaxing in the tub looking at the harbour and birds and views after days of hiking, tours and sightseeing was simply marvellous. Kitchen was well appointed allowing us to cook up lovely meals. Bathroom lovely, and could relax in the comfy living room. Would recommend this highly to anyone wanting a beautiful experience in the Faroes.

Cabin with stunning view of the sea and island

ConnorRating, 5 stars11 months ago
We loved our stay here, especially the incredible view from the dining nook. As others have noted, it’s a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the house and you have to climb down a ladder to get to the bathroom, but that did not detract from the wonderful overall experience. The central location also made this an ideal home base for driving around the Faroes.

Peaceful Panoramic Retreat in Leynar

JenniferRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Lovely cabin in a beautiful setting. Recommended but including some additional information that may be helpful to know in advance: Walk from where car is left is several hundred meters up a steep partially paved walkway, then over a grassy often muddy, path (so can be a bit challenging if you have a lot of luggage.). Loft area is estimated around 4 feet at highest point with small ladder to access (so while adults could access may be preferable for children.). Shower is adequate (hand held nozzle only). At least 3 different types of coffee makers … but did not see any coffee. Cleaning fee (of 225 USD) did not include taking out the trash or washing dishes / emptying dishwasher. Still a very enjoyable stay.

Newly renovated apartment in Kollafjørður

JeffRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The location was perfect t for seeing all Faroe has to offer. The apartment is centrally located to so many sights. Glad we didn't stay in Torshaven, we would have had a long drive back each day after touring. The apartment has a great view across the water, and a cascading waterfall in the other direction. The location was very private and quiet. A grocery is just a short walk away and has everything. We loved Faroe and loved staying in the apartment.
