The place was very easy to find off the highway. We arrived late due to traffic delays and we able to enter easily and get settled quickly . The place was clean and comfortable. I’m glad to know about the place for future road trips that way.

This place was as beautiful as the pictures! It is very clean and well kept, everything works, the appliances and electronics are modern. This was a great place to stay during my cancer treatment. It was a peaceful home away from home on a quiet street. Perfect for rest and/or recovery. Highly recommend this place!

I highly recommend this amazing house right on the banks of Bright Lake. I have zero complaints and we will be returning! Nicole was very accommodating and couldn't ask for a better host. If you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful house on the lake trust me you wont be disappointed if you stay at the Rocky Retreat!

This place truly felt like home. The host was amazing—super communicative and thoughtful throughout the stay. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking to unwind in a peaceful, quiet environment with beautiful views all around. Everything about this trip was just what I needed. Loved every moment and would definitely come back again!

Our stay at this location was great! We had three families 11 total people, and everyone was comfortable and had plenty of space. The living/kitchen space was very functional and comfortable. The house was stocked well and had everything we needed. A couple things to keep in mind. The location is a not anything special, and there is another house on the property that was occupied while we were there. We weren’t bothered by the people there at all, and it felt adequately private. The temperature varied greatly between the floors. I’d recommend bringing cool and warm clothes with you for the top floor and basement. Overall it was a great Airbnb especially for the cost. I would recommend!

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Marilee’s, and welcomed the company of the chickens in the front yard. The home comfortably fit our family and loved the complimentary eggs and local craft beer that was provided when we checked in. Thank you to Marilee and family for a really nice weekend!

The house was great! It was comfortable, lots of room for our family to spread out . All the beds were very comfortable. Our Host was very engaging in her prompt responses. She was able to accomodate an earlier check-in, so I really appreciated this kind service. I highly recommend staying at her rentals.

We had a wonderful stay at the RV. The pool was a perfect spot to relax, so warm and the ambience was fantastic under the stars, and the fire pit made for cozy evenings were lit ❤️ It was wonderful to have a pet friendly environment and we enjoyed having hairy, charley and chewey around us. They were so friendly with us. The houses on the property were an added delight and the ride which paul took us was a memorable lifetime experience for us. Paul was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for a fun and comfotable getaway. You guys are amazing :)

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The space was spotless, and incredibly cozy, like stepping into a retreat that still felt like home. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, and it truly made our stay feel special. The pool and hot tub were the stars of the show. The hot tub was perfect and just what we needed to fully relax, it felt like a little slice of luxury! Everything about the space invited us to slow down and enjoy. The atmosphere was so peaceful and private, yet everything we needed was close by. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and made sure we felt taken care of throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, recharge, and feel a little spoiled, this is it!! Already planning our next visit!

Bowhey’s is such a special place. All the amenities, clean cabins, staff is always busy working on something to make it even more beautiful. Ian is so great and laid back. Saturday night karaoke should not be missed! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful view of the West Bay! Cottage was very clean and well equipped. Friendly, laid back people were staying in nearby cottages and trailers. We went to the Lavigne Tavern down the road for supper and had an excellent meal and service. Likewise, picking up ice cream from the corner store. Very friendly, warm, relaxed town - we'll be back!

What a little slice of heaven! Highly recommend Bowhey's particularly for families. Among the best features: The wraps (totally creative), the access to the dock, the pool (very large pool) and karaoke night (so much fun!). For just a week, I was able to have my son experience life like I did in the 80s and 90s. He met new friends, played games in the pool and outside and just enjoyed a simpler pace. If this is what you're looking for, Bowhey's is for you!

My first time experiencing cottage life. Ian and his family are good hosts. My children loved Ian. This resort felt very safe. The people that were there were very kind and friendly. it was not overwhelming, it was just right. You do have to bring your own pillows and linen. My suggestion, bring a fan. keep you cool at night. There is hot water. Karaoke night was a lot of fun. no judgement. Ian has a big variety of music. If you are coming from the GTA, you are looking at about 5 to 6 hours of travel time depending on traffic. We didn't get to do the trails because our kids wanted to swim in the pool all day. However, there are trails around the area. Canoeing was a lot of fun and the paddle boards were a challenge but a lot of fun too. There is fire wood present for you to use if you want to make a bonfire. There is a convenience store down the street. They sell essential groceries, beer, liquor, first aid and hot food. Some of his cabins have a really good view of the lake.

I would recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Sudbury. Best place in the area. Angela and family are amazing

I had planned to visit a few nearby places when i stayed at Daniel’s place. But i ended cancelling my last day’s plans to just enjoy the airbnb and its surroundings. It was a great experience staying here and Daniel was very friendly and easy to talk to.

An amazing off-grid, Summer getaway😃 If you’re outdoorsy and comfortable without A/C, I highly encourage you to book the Goose Gap Shipyard!! We fell in love with the cozy, homey main house and new bunkie for a more camp-like sleep. The crisp Huron Lake waterfront is perfect for cold-plunging after a nice sauna and the on-water lake-view is spectacular, even in overcast weather. The hosts were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating😊 The bugs were minimal on the property during our stay; However, if you make your way across the lake, the midges are out in full-force. The only thing I could suggest to improve this accommodation would be to add another solar panel or battery, as you will be bothered to start the generator at least once a night, if cooking, watching tv, or have a few too many lights on or electronics plugged in😬

We just got home from a wonderful week stay at Courtney’s place on MacGregor Bay. We can’t say enough great things about this place. Having a whole island to ourselves with a trail to hike, paddle boards to use, and all the amenities of home was exactly what we needed! The off grid living with a warm outdoor shower was a highlight…and the constant breeze off the bay will be missed! Our family of four all slept very comfortably. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and we were pleasantly surprised to find a blender and a salad spinner! 😉 We feel very lucky to have found this gem and hope to return again soon. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed staying at Dave and Marcia’s cottage. It was super clean, had all the amenities we needed and was really comfortable. Located on the water with an amazing view….we couldn’t have been happier!! The hosts were very friendly and provided us with a 5 star Airbnb experience. We would love to stay there again and highly recommend to others.

Had a great time on Dunlop Lake! Dale and Jess are amazing hosts, and my family and I had made a life time of memories in only a week! Amazing sunrises everyday, canoe trips and fishing daily with the kids. Already planning more trips to Elliot Lake and keeping Dale and Sunrise Bay in mind. A thousand thanks!!

Very clean and organized, well stocked with basic essentials. Easy check in, quick response from owner. On-site manager stopped in to check to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Would not hesitate to stay again.

I booked this charming Pet friendly log cabin on a whim to escape for a few days, and I'm so glad I did! I have never been to Thessalon before, but the description and photos of the "Spruce" cabin were just too dreamy to pass up. My husband was away on a fishing trip, so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity for a solo retreat with my little Pekingese pup, Dolly. When I arrived, the host Robin greeted me so warmly and gave me a lovely tour of the resort. I instantly felt at home in the cozy cabin. The vaulted, screened-in porch is exactly where I pictured myself soaking in the fresh air, the sound of the lake, and the tranquility of nature. From the moment I stepped outside each morning, the sun greeted me as I poured my first cup of coffee. Sitting on the porch, watching the trees sway in the gentle breeze, I truly felt like I was in my own little heaven. Dolly loved exploring the grounds and snuggling up with me as I took in the beautiful surroundings. Thank you Robin 💓
