The Cottage @ Hedges is an easy 10 minute drive from the centre of Ballarat. The cottage sits within a pretty country garden about 20 metres from my home on a small rural property. Close to parklands, Lake Wendouree, art galleries, wineries and lots of great cafes and restaurants. The Ballarat-Skipton Railtrail is just 300 metres away - perfect for quiet country walks and cyclists. It is comfortable inside and out with plenty of shady spots to sit in the garden.

Harvest Cottage is a peaceful, stylish one bedroom weatherboard cottage set amongst beautiful garden, rolling hills, pasture and native bushland of Central Victoria. It's filled with the exquisite botanical and landscape artworks of Catherine Freemantle, a wood fire and bespoke furnishings to make your stay unforgettable. We also offer a number of floral and art workshops on request. We are also a stone throw from the newly opened djuwangbaring trail network.

The cottage is located in a tranquil quiet location with sweeping views of the beautiful Wallaby Track and Reserve which combine the best of European and Australian trees. We welcome adults, infants not yet crawling or walking and children from 6 years and above as well as up to 2 pets. IMPORTANT NOTE There are access issues for young children to the nearby creek, hence our restriction of young kids at the property.
