Welcome to Meisbu - in the heart of Sunnmørsalpane! The cabin was built for Christmas 2023 and is nicely located with mountain and lake views. Here you get close to nature with a short distance to both ski lifts, top tours and cross-country ski trails in winter, and mountain tours and swimming/fishing in summer. The cabin can also be a base for exploring the region, with a short distance to the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund, beautiful Geiranger or the bird mountain on Runde. Bring your family and friends to a cozy cottage stay in a homey environment.

Jølet- Elvedrømmen

Jølet! Imagine lying suspended above the ground on a bed of rushing water with stars in your eyes! That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Great cabin in Sunnmørsalpene. The cabin is located just a few hundred meters from the ski resort and short access to several kilometers of cross-country trails with lights for an evening trip. There are also many opportunities for top trips for all skill levels. There is also the possibility to rent a 16-foot leisure boat with 40hp. This is located in Sykkylven city centre (20 min drive from the cabin). Here there are life jackets and fishing equipment if you are interested. Rental must be pre-booked a good while before. Cozy cabin right on the seafront, with the fjord as the closest neighbor. The cabin consists of a living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, hallway and loft. Plus, there is a great barbecue house. Here you can enjoy quiet days at the fjord or you have a good starting point for getting around the many sights and activities the area has to offer. Spacious cabin with great views and hiking terrain right outside the door. The cabin is located near the ski resort (ski in/ski out) and nice prepared cross-country trails and floodlit trails are just nearby. The area also has great hiking opportunities on foot. Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice mountain trips in summer and winter. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Geiranger and Ålesund. In the summer you can also fish in Nysætervatnet (must buy a fishing license).

It is also a short distance to Ålesund (about 1 hour by car) and famous areas such as Geiranger, Hellesylt, Norangsdalen, Valldal and Trollstigen. In winter, two different ski resorts are only 15 minutes away from the apartment; “Sunnmørsalpane Skiarena Fjellsætra” and “Strandafjellet Skisenter”.
