Welcome to our Hunchy Cottage located on two acres in the foothills of the scenic Blackall Range. Just 1 hour from Brisbane the cottage offers privacy, gorgeous views and a peaceful country feel. Only minutes from the charming villages of Montville and Palmwoods, a great range of eating options and just 20 minutes to beautiful Sunshine Coast beaches. The cottage is separate from our home and is your own while you stay. You will enjoy great access to all that the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

The couple's cabin is one of three close-knit pavilions at The Bower, rustique rainforest retreat; a tiny hamlet only 10 minutes drive from Maleny and 20 minutes to Woodfordia. Relax in front of the warm wood burning fireplace, enjoy the abundant bird life from your private deck, soak in the antique clawfoot bath, and lose yourself in the celestial clerestory views. Journey back in time while enjoying the luxury of a fully renovated and contemporory train carriage fitted out with bedrooms, kitchenette, bathroom, toilet and living /TV area and indoor electric fire. Enjoy the sweeping views of the valley overlooking Sarah's hobby farm on the large deck and entertaining area inc. BBQ facilities. Roast marshmallows over your own personal fire-pit at night. Twice daily animal feeding and experiences for the Children led by Sarah your hostess.

Relax at Mellum view

You have the ground floor all to yourself in a 2 storey house. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place. Only 15 minutes drive to the beautiful hinterland town of Maleny and 15 minutes to the popular Australia Zoo or 30 minutes to the beaches at Caloundra. Children are welcome and we provide a high chair, a safety bed rail and a port a cot, if needed. Your dog (no XL dogs like Sait Bernard’s etc.)is welcome. There is a fenced yard. Our own dog is kept upstairs.

Surrounded by rolling hills, and grazing cattle, you'll enjoy easy access to quaint hinterland towns, with their charming cafes, restaurants and trails. Relax with a picnic by the creek, unwind in a hammock, or take a leisurely stroll through the olive grove.

Private Oasis

This 1 bedroom apartment has everything you will need. Rest and relax around the pool and then walk to the Thai restaurant for dinner. Your location is only 5 minutes drive to shopping at the Sunshine Plaza and Maroochydore, Mooloolaba beaches are close by as well (5-7km). Buderim Waterfalls are a 10 minute walk and other attractions like Australia Zoo, Sea life Mooloolaba, Ginger Factory, TreeTop challenge -Big Pineapple are within a 30 minute drive.
