Holiday rentals with a sauna in Sunshine Coast Regional District

A wonderful place to enjoy the view, beaches, amenities and the company you're with. Lots of space inside the suite. The furniture was comfortable and well cared for. No indication that a pet had previously been there, as sometimes that can be the case. Vast supply of cooking materials, extra blankets, pillows and linens. Beds were very comfortable as well. Would 100% recommend booking here, and also with John.

Great location and communication

We stayed here for a week, and wished it could have been longer. The location and the view from the unit is absolutely beautiful; only a short drive into Parksville and Qualicum, as well as Nanaimo, and yet when you are staying here, you feel like you could be miles from anywhere. Lovely walking trails around, amazing beach and great facilities made this the perfect spot for us to base ourselves and explore the area. The unit itself is impeccable and had all the amenities one could need, and lots of thoughtful little details that made this a stay we will remember. We will definitely be back, and will be recommending this place to family and friends.

Perfect space for a quick getaway! unfortunately we only stayed one night,but definitely wished we could stay longer. We were in a pinch finding space quickly and Raylene jumped to action with quick responses and care for our situation. clean, comfortable , welcoming space. The resort is in a beautiful location. Ammenties are appealing and the neighbourhood has everything one needs !

Mermaid Cove was lovely and luxurious! The apartment was clean, spacious, homey, and so nicely decorated; it had every amenity you could think of and even some I'd never thought of before (fancy pillow mist!). The location was fantastic!! A nice end unit right next to a walking path and beach access. The resort was fabulous, with great pools, restaurant and spa. We (and our toddler) especially loved the outdoor kiddie pool with slide and pirate playground. Kimberley and John were exceptional hosts with great communication and were very responsive. We had a wonderful stay!!

My wife and I were here for a couple of days to visit some family. Since we’re from Calgary, we were hoping to be close to the water. This place did not disappoint! I would say we were 15 steps away from the water. It was really nice to have a coffee in the morning and be able to walk to a small patio to enjoy the view. This location also has a great restaurant that is also on the property. Everyone was super nice and the food was delicious. Another great thing about this location was the access to the pool and hot tubs. There is one indoors and one outdoors. Both were enjoyable but I definitely preferred the outdoor one. Everything was super quiet and calm. Made the stay that much more relaxing. Would definitely come here again in the future!

We enjoyed everything about our stay. So much thought was put into to making a cozy, comfortable stay. So much swimming, ocean, hot tubs and pools. Jennifer is a great host. As a side note: we are from Vancouver and do our best to not drive. This vacation rental is fully accessible by public transit from Vancouver, a break from the city without needing a vehicle, whatever your reasons might be. Highly recommend. Thanks Jennifer!

Beds are VERY comfortable! We slept soundly both nights. Good shower head in the master shower. Linens were clean and fresh. Quiet complex. Zero issues. Overall the condo is very homey and cozy. Well appointed kitchen and we wanted for nothing. Host was responsive and friendly and generously offered a late checkout as it worked for her schedule.

This is our second time staying at this airbnb and we love it so much! The hosts are amazing, really understanding and super responsive. The place is super clean and well thought out. The perfect place to bring young kids with lots of supplies already there (highchair/pack and play/kitchenware/toys). The location is also amazing so close to the beach and the resort has lots of fun kid friendly amenities. We are definitely making this spot an annual trip! Thank you Nikki & Jenn!!

My wife and I went to Tanya's condo for a week to celebrate our anniversary and relax. The condo and the surrounding area were great. Inside the condo there are quite a few little extras that make the stay extra comfortable - the large jetted tub, dual sinks in the bathroom, vinyl record player and cozy kitchen were all nice. One thing that sets this particular condo apart is that the owner has paid for the common amenities that the Pacific Shores Resort provides - this means that Tanya's guests can use the pickleball courts, the indoor pool, the outdoor pool and hot tub, and the table tennis table at no extra cost. This would have been especially handy if the weather was poor....but we lucked out with great weather for the whole week. We used the pickleball courts-great outdoor courts with nice nets and great surface-for a total of about 8 hours during our stay. There was always a court or two open. Paddleboarding and beach walks were also highlights of our trip. Great value!

Marvin and Mya's place was absolutely beautiful! Steps from the beach with plenty of amenities. The home was very baby friendly with available high chair, cutlery, pak and play, toys and blackout curtains which made the transition so smooth for our baby. Marvin was very proactive and communicated instructions extremely clearly to make check in and check out a seamless process. My family and I would definitely come back! Thank you so much!

Great space for a small family. Beautiful views of the ocean and mountains from the deck. Playground and pool close by for the kids. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful place to stay, clean, comfortable. Lots of amenities nearby. The hosts ensured we were comfortable and had what we needed. They told us to reach out if there were any issues or concerns, which there weren’t. Will definitely return!

Amazing house in Miller’s Landing on Bowen Island. We loved the yard, the chef style kitchen, the fireplace, and the nice bedrooms upstairs. A rare opportunity to enjoy what Bowen has best to offer.

Viktoria is a great host. Everything was prepared very thoroughly, from sleeping masks to different kinds of sugar and fresh flowers in the room. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay with our family at The Avery! The communication with the hosts was excellent—friendly, prompt, and helpful. They provided great local recommendations that really enhanced our visit. The house itself was beautifully decorated and had a warm, welcoming feel. We especially enjoyed the sauna—such a relaxing bonus! It was also just a short drive into Gibson and Roberts Creek, making it easy to explore the area. We’d definitely recommend staying here and would love to return in the future.

The place was beautiful! Very spacious, we had lots of room for everyone. Having the beach so close was so amazing, my kids loved playing in the sand. The deck overlooking the property was breathtaking, especially with a morning coffee. Host had everything laid out nicely with lots of possible activities.

We had a fantastic stay at Christina’s place! The home was clean and very well-kept, with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Christina was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The space itself is lovely, inviting, nicely decorated, and in a great location. The view from the living room is incredible and the sauna is a wonderful bonus. One of the most thoughtful touches was how welcoming it was for our friend’s dog, who came along. Christina even left a few dog-friendly extras that made a big difference. We’d absolutely love to stay here again. Highly recommend!

Ari’s place was absolutely magical. Beautifully set up, plenty of space, totally private, completely serene. Ari was incredibly helpful with getting to the island from the city, very communicative. Our water taxi leaving the island was later than check out time, and while she couldn’t offer us late check out (totally fair) she let us keep our belongings in the car and unloaded them for us, totally above and beyond host! I would absolutely recommend this place and look forward to having the opportunity to visit again!

Ash's spot was cosy, clean, and surrounded by beauty. The space is modern and well-designed. The jacuzzi and sauna were great to have access to, and the ocean is a 3-minute walk down the road. Overall, it was an amazing stay! Two things to consider for other travellers: other reviews were right - the ceiling isn't insulated the greatest, so you do hear quite a bit of noise coming from upstairs. However, we had a newborn with us, and Ash was great at checking in with us to make sure she could, for example, use the vacuum without waking up the baby. The other thing to consider: the kitchen wasn't equipped with all the essentials that would have made our trip even more comfortable, like Tupperware/food storage, saran wrap, aluminum foil, pots of different sizes, etc. We had a longer stay, and these would have helped us out a bunch. We would go back, though!

My group had a wonderful experience with Gary and the full team at Serenity. The house was beautiful and fit so many people, we would definitely recommend for a larger group or family. We especially loved when the deers would visit and all of the wild flowers.
