We had a wonderful stay! Very cozy accommodation, exactly as pictured!

The cabin was just as described. The beds were all comfortable and the hot tub was great and though the road is close - you could not hear it with the windows closed. We had a little trouble finding the place - google & apple both took us to the wrong place - but our car’s nav found it. The only thing the cabin didn’t have that would have been nice is curtains. It was tough to sleep when you are not used to it being light out all night, but we survived. The location was great for exploring Reykjavík, the golden circle and south Iceland.

What a fantastic place for five adults to stay on a breathtaking vacation. Tons of space to lounge, eat big meals, and enjoy the hot tub and sauna. Every space fit all of us comfortably. Erlingur & Ingvar were extremely detailed and friendly in communications and it felt easy to reach out when we had a small issue with the cleanliness of the space. It could have used just an extra wipe down of dust and debris/sweep/once-over so that we could feel completely comfortable settling in, but they were very responsive and kind when it was mentioned to them. The views were spectacular from almost every window with the only exception being a bit of construction on the property. Would recommend this place and these hosts. Thanks for an unforgettable stay :)

An absolutely perfect stay. We booked all the cabins on the farm and had a lovely weekend. Our second visit and would definitely come again.

Oskar was the ultimate host. He responded to all of my queries promptly. His home fit our needs perfectly. Very clean, well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed his hot tub, and my 9-year-old grandson had a nice grassy area in front of the house to run around and play in.

The cabin it’s the most beautiful place I stay so far. It’s so cozy and peaceful. The hot tub, the nature… it’s amazing! It made me feel like at home. We made a barbecue, and enjoy the rest of the evening in the water. Listening to the birds. Was more than perfect for a get away near Reykjavik. And we wanna repeat the experience

Cabin was cute, cozy, and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Close to Golden Circle attractions and great restaurants in downtown Selfoss yet very peaceful and private. Wish we had more time to enjoy the outdoor space. Host was very responsive and friendly.

My family and I thorough enjoyed our stay! After a long day of travel the hot tub and peaceful surroundings were just what was needed! The location was within easy driving distance to many local attractions and to the city for any supplies needed. We would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful stay just outside the capital.

We felt very comfortable in this sweet vacation home. The house was furnished with great attention to detail and had a beautifully large terrace for the children to romp around, including a trampoline and zip line. From there, we could easily reach many excursion destinations. Thank you for letting us enjoy such a pleasant stay with you.

We booked the hut for the private geothermal hot tub and although it takes 1-2 hours to fill it was absolutely amazing! We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet, there is nothing else than a nice view and smell of pine with the sound of some birds around.

Loved this place - beautiful location amongst the trees on the river and only two minutes drive to town. Spotlessly clean. Would have loved to stay longer.

Very homey and cosy summerhouse, privately located with beautiful surroundings. Jacuzi was a godsend in the glorious weather. Very easy to relax in the quiet view of horses and many different birdsongs of summer.

Very well located accommodation (close to Route 1 and Selfoss) and in a pleasant setting! Functional and convenient Communication with Gudfinna is perfect. I would recommend it!

Mojca was a great host and the cabin was clean and comfortable! It’s about 30 minutes from selfoss but easy and beautiful drive. There is a gated entrance although the host was very fast to open and respond. It’s only for arrival and departure. I’d totally stay here again!

Lovely place! Perfect if you’ve rented a car and want to get out and see a lot of nature. Kitchen works fine for both cooking and baking. And the outdoor hot tub is great when spending a relaxing night in. All in all my best recommendations!

Great private location with a stunning view of the lake, and only a 15 minute drive from Reykjavik. It matched the description exactly and Sigga was a very responsive host!

Loved this location. There was a ton a walking space and only 5 minute drive to restaurants. The only thing was the hot tub was not filled up and took about two and a half hours to fill up and get hot. Other than that, everything was perfect!

A fantastic place to stay in a truly stunning location!

Our stay at Tomas's two-bedroom cabin was fantastic. The cozy cabin is situated in a small, sparsely populated gated community, offering a perfect sense of wilderness. We couldn't see any other cottages or people from the cabin. The surroundings were idyllic, with birds chirping, horses in the distance, and beautiful mountain backdrops. The cabin was equipped with a kitchen featuring electric stoves, a fridge, and cooking ware. We prepared breakfast each day and cooked dinner on a couple of occasions. It was delightful to sit outdoors on the porch with a cup of coffee, enjoying the sounds of nature. The cabin had cozy bedrooms, bathrooms with hot and cold water, geothermal space heaters, ensuring a comfortable stay. Tomas was very kind, hospitable and accommodating, promptly responding to any questions we had during our stay. He was gracious enough to allow us extra time at the cabin when our flight was canceled at the last moment. I highly recommend Tomas's cabin.
