Holiday rentals with a patio in Switzerland

Sara and Rob’s flat may be the best Airbnb we have EVER stayed in! Incredibly comfortable and cozy, very well appointed with very comfortable bed, furniture, etc. Perfectly equipped kitchen, the BEST shower head you will ever experience. Then…the VIEW!! Wow, waking up every morning to this spectacular view was the cherry on top. We had many plans to explore the area and kept saying to ourselves “should we just got back and enjoin the Airbnb instead” 😉

In short, a beautiful apartment in beautiful surroundings! This is hands down the best airbnb we have been in. Sophia was very helpful and always responsive. We had a very comfortable stay.

My wife and I couldn’t believe what we were seeing as we drove up —absolutely stunning views that set the perfect tone for our stay. The drive to the home alone is worth mentioning, with breathtaking scenery all along the way. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately impressed by how spotless everything was, and the view from inside the home was just as incredible. The space has a modern cabin feel that was cozy and stylish. It’s incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect place to truly disconnect and unwind. Everything was comfortable and well-maintained; we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and made it clear they were available if we needed anything, which made us feel even more at ease. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with access to nature, there are some great hiking and biking trails nearby. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back! We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, beautifully designed, and had absolutely stunning views — especially of the nearby waterfalls. The location was perfect — close to everything we needed, yet peaceful and quiet. It made our trip incredibly enjoyable and relaxing. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area — we’d definitely stay here again!

Lovely space with a superb view! We came here for our anniversary and found it a wonderfully romantic stay. Well equipped place, good kitchen with basic cooking extras, provided us with a lighter and firewood for our whole stay on arrival! Fires outside at night are just amazing, it's so peaceful and relaxing. The studio is wonderfully decorated, exactly as the photos, feels exactly like a luxury Swiss chalet should. Only small issue would be it said 11am check out time but we were asked to leave for 10 which was a little inconvenient, but a minor issue, overall we loved our stay here. Be aware it's a 30 minute drive to the nearest proper shops up a steep winding road with sheer drops, not for the faint of heart but if you like driving it's quite fun. Would highly recommend for couples seeking a romantic or refreshing getaway in the clean mountain air.

The best accommodation~ The view was really awesome at a reasonable and affordable price~ Doris and her husband visited in person and told us all the things we were curious about, so we had a good time without any difficulties~ It was cleaner and tidier than our house in Korea, so we had no difficulty staying there~ It has all the travel adapters, and you can use the washing machine and dryer unlimitedly for about 5 francs more. Grindewald Terminal was so close that it was just a stone's throw away, so I was able to go back and forth without any burden at all! It was so nice that I felt like I was at home in Switzerland when I left. It was sad that I couldn't spend a lot of time at the accommodation. It was nice that I didn't have to buy water because I could just drink the water! Everything was good without any downsides. However, unless it's very summer, Korean people may feel a little cold in bed, so it's a good idea to bring a travel electric blanket or a hot pack. If you don't bring it, the heating radiator is full and good, so you can replace it with that. I'll have to go again someday. I don't miss Switzerland as much, but I miss Doris's accommodation so much. What a wonderful and peaceful experience it was to stay at Emanuel’s greenhouse. I only wish we had booked a longer stay. His offer (and accepted) to pick organic strawberries from inside the greenhouse was much appreciated.

Aldo was great and his recommendations very accurate to what we needed. I loved that he communicated with us since the first moment we reserved and was also sharing pictures and sending clear instructions on our arrival.

Me and my friends loved our stay at Judith's and Simon's place. It is such a lovely old style chalet, very well equipped, and so cozy, that we felt right at home. The hosts are also such nice people and welcoming. Staying here definitely made our roadtrip to Switzerland more special. We definitely recommend it.

Spectacular location and a house that matches.. we had a lovely time, very well designed and built house, takes fully advantage of the beautiful scenery out side, highly recommended.. PS.. this applies for only during May-June ‘25 as the road in front of the house is getting repaired, it is important to note that there is only walking access to the house. This means that guests will need to carry their luggage for certain sections of the route from the parking lot.. just to provide clarity there is no option to drag your wheeled luggage to the house, it will need to be carried. Just wanted to provide this clarity as I thought this was assumed by us.. although the host had communicated to use about the access but this aspect was not clarified.

I just experienced the best three nights of staying at an Airbnb. I would like to begin with how Andrea helped me plan my itinerary in Switzerland without even booking her place. She was so helpful in chalking out my plan, ways to get there, local recommendations, etc. Her house is magnificent, so tasteful. Her house feels like an ultra luxury stay with most amenities one might need. My kids were so happy with the toys, books play station at her place. The location of her place makes an excellent base to explore lot of neighbouring area in central Switzerland. She recommended some great local attractions which were a delight to visit. Her house is so serene located right next to an open field. I really enjoyed stargazing sitting outdoors sipping some lovely wine. I would rate this stay a 1000/10. I would choose to stay here over any five or seven star property. Her place is not just a stay but an Airbnb experience in itself. Will stay here again for sure.

Both Regula and her husband, Satcha, were extremely helpful and welcoming. They walked us through the entire property, explaining how everything worked....they even had the pool cleaned spotlessly...they had an outdoor pizza oven and a small garden with herbs for your cooking, and lettuce growing which we were welcome to use. The house had everything that we could have possibly needed, and they checked on us a couple of times to make sure that we had everything that we need. I would highly recommend this home for your traveling and vacation needs!

It was close to the station, so it was good for getting around. I went earlier than the check-in time, but I was able to rest because you kindly guided me. They also paid attention to the washing machine mistakes I made, and even took pictures and explained them in an easy-to-understand way. I had a good rest with my mom in a good location. Nice apartment in serene alpine mountains. We felt very comfortable and welcomed. Everything you need is available for a fair price. Driving up the windy narrow roads requires a bit of skill, but it’s absolutely worth it.

Thierry’s place was amazing! Everything was very well prepared and Thierry was very quick to respond to any questions that came up. We had a little trouble finding the place and Thierry came and met us and showed us where to go. Thierry was a fantastic host! The view from the house is so beautiful! Pictures don’t quite capture it. Kitchen was well equipped and showers had great water pressure. The place does not have A/C (which we were aware of) but even with the fans it was still quite warm due to the hot summer temperatures we had during our stay. This is not a complaint, just something to be aware of. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality Thierry!

Beautiful apartment located right on the water. This was an amazing experience for my family. Had everything we needed and the beds were very comfy! We had an amazing time! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Amazing views and excellent location.

I really enjoyed this place.

The area is really beautiful. They were two seperate rooms with a kitchen. The hosts were really friendly and also provided us with extra Ventilators due to the terrific heat. Over all, Nice stay.

The communication even in advance was very friendly and the arrival was therefore easy and relaxed. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived. The apartment is great and we immediately felt very comfortable. Everything is well thought out and nothing is missing. I have rarely experienced this before. We would love to come back and I can recommend this place 100%.
