Join me for a 2.5-hour Street Food Tour and discover the island where I grow up through the eyes of a local. Uncover hidden corners of my island often missed and savor a variety of authentic Sicilian specialties. We start with a refreshing Sicilian coffee, followed by the iconic Arancino, a savory rice ball with ragú that will delight your taste buds. Then, we’ll explore the island’s charming, off-the-beaten-path areas, leading us to the bustling local fruit and vegetable market. At the market, meet my friend Francesco, who will introduce us to Capuliato (sun-dried tomato pesto), artisanal salami, and local cheeses. Enjoy delicious almond pastries, rich pistachio cream, and the best panino of your life from a renowned mozzarella maker. Our tour concludes at the city’s top gelateria, where you’ll savor refreshing granita made with seasonal fruit. My personal favorite is the mulberry flavor! Please note that dishes may vary based on seasonal availability. My goal is to provide an authentic local experience with fresh, organic ingredients. You enjoy many foods, from savory to sweet,while the Chef Angelo will explain the origin and history of these. 9:30 AM. We will start the experience with a traditional Sicilian breakfast (lemon, almond or pistachio Granita with Sicilian "Tuppo" Brioche, Cannoli with sweet ricotta, almond biscuits, cappuccino, espresso, americano or orange juice), where i'll introduce the Sicilian history explaining the food origins. 10:15 AM. If you prefer the afternoon time (4:00 pm), contact Teresa to make the most of it. 10:00 am: Arriving at the villa and welcoming you with Teresa, who will guide you in this culinary experience explaining the recipes, the ingredients and their local origin. 10:10 AM: Start the class! You'll cook three typical Sicilian dishes: a starter, a first (fresh pasta, arancine, or pasta timballo), and a traditional dessert. All ingredients are fresh, seasonal, and selected by local producers. Recipes vary depending on the time of year. On request, we prepare vegetarian dishes (unfortunately we can't offer gluten-free options). A day in the countryside

We'll prepare together "scacciate" and a typical sicilian bread and then we'll cook them in an ancient wood oven. In winter we'll make cheese and ricotta or a delicious and tasty pasta with fresh eggs from my hens. Finally, we'll taste typical sicilian sweets, an excellent "Limoncello" and other homemade Liqueurs. I'm sure you'll spend a relaxing day in a familiar atmosphere.
