If you are looking for the perfect getaway this is a great spot, where you can practice yoga or tai chi on the beach; Or if that's not your scene...maybe pick up a surfboard and catch a few waves along the beautiful coastline! We are 1km from the charming fishing village of Arrieta, where you can find an excellent restaurant right on the beach Casa de la Playa that specializes in a great selection of tapas, paella and fresh fish...and just next to it El Chiringuito bar..also with great tapas and mojitoes Arrieta is also famous for hosting some of the top fish restaurants on the island, where you can relax with a glass of our local wine Bermejo whilst watching the local fishermen arriving with their fresh catch of the day! For sporting enthusiasts with a different approach to the island, we are in the perfect location for cyclists, surfers, scuba divers and hikers! This area has some fantastic routes through the valley or some more relaxing ones along the coastline. If you've ever fancied a go at surfing, we can help you arrange courses in Caleta de Famara . ( You can e-mail us for more information) While this is a great rural retreat we are still lucky enough to be near to the resort of Costa Teguise (About a 10 min drive) and also some of the most famous attractions on the island; 'Jameous d'Agua', 'The Green Caves', 'The Cactus Gardens', 'Haria Market' and the beautiful island of 'La Graciosa.' With our love of travel we are friendly hosts that love meeting fellow travellers and have good knowledge on alternative walks and places to visit in Lanzarote.................. The great happiness

Just 200 m from the sea and yet protected from the wind, is Casa Kalisat "House of Happiness." Surrounded by breathtaking volcanic landscape, the clear starry sky at night, the power of the tides, you will find peace and closeness to nature in a beautiful living atmosphere. Throughout the village you can be undressed. Nudism is welcome here, but not mandatory. There is a supermarket in Charco and several good island-typical restaurants in Mala and Arrieta, where there is also a long, flat sandy beach, suitable for children and surfers. A protected swimming area (200 m) made of natural lava rock allows swimming at high tide all year round. A rock (500 m) with a step ladder is the perfect access to the sea for swimmers and divers. Several hiking trails start behind the house. The most beautiful leads directly to the excursion point “Jardin de Cactus”, by the famous island artist César Manrique.

Oasis Cottage

Casita Oasis is located in a quiet village location in Mala. It is a cozy modern vacation home. The house is around 45 m ² and has a living/dining room and a sleeping area, which is visually delimited by a wall. The living area merges with a sliding glass door into an east-facing terrace with garden views. Furthermore there is a sun spot surrounded by a natural stone wall, wind-protected and south-facing sun square as well as a small terrace with a brick barbecue.
