Casa do Rio Alva is a very special place with private access to the river! Our country house is located in the village of Secarias in the heart of the nature of central Portugal, 4 km from the village of Arganil and 55 km from the city of Coimbra. Exploring the Alva River from our home is a unique experience, where the following stand out: avocets, bees, kingfishers, crows, swallows, foxes, field mice, frogs, toads and snakes, numerous fish such as bass, bogas and carp, but also trout and eels.

Only 35 kms from Serra da Estrela and 75 kms from Coimbra, in a small village in Serra do Açor with daily delivery of fresh bread, is RAIZ, a 1907 house waiting for you to enjoy good views and a magnificent sunset on the terrace. Spacious and cosy, with air conditioning, living room with wood burning stove and garage with direct access, where you will find several bicycles to discover the surroundings. It's a 10min walk through the village to the river with beaches and a café whilst charming Coja town is a 5min drive and includes several restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bank. A multitude of historic sights and outdoor activities are catered for in the surrounding area.

Situated right on the banks of the Pomares river, this newly refurbished luxury 1 bedroom apartment has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, set in the heart of the Alva Valley. The apartment has a balcony over looking the river beach of Avo, where you can enjoy the fresh water of the Alva river. Our child friendly rural retreat has plenty of room to roam, relax and play! Just a few minutes from Tabua town you can access shops, restaurants and facilities with ease. Well behaved pets are welcomed!

The house is located in the Mondego River Valley on walking distance of a beautifull isolated riverbeach. A great place to get away from the stressed world. Excellent for a couple or an individual who loves the simplicity, purity and silence of nature. The house includes an open kitchen and living room, a 11 m2 mezanine for sleeping, an outside shower, compost toilet in a 5000 m2 forest garden with granit boulders, natural structures, sculptures and chillout places.

Authentically renovated village house

Our authentically renovated, stone village house is located in the quiet and friendly village of Andorinha in Central Portugal. We created a modern space with as much comfort as possible yet keeping the eccentricity of the house. Make sure you take advantage of the wood burning hot tub and enjoy a few hours soaking, while sipping on a nice glass of wine. IMPORTANT TO KNOW: The downstairs large bedroom has access through the front courtyard NOT inside the house.
