Holiday rentals with breakfast in Takamatsu

Aya-san and her husband is the most polite and warm host I ever experienced with AirBnB. they went to the distance to ensure the guest are well taken care of. Before the trip, she asked if I have any good allergy and what is my plan for the trip. She even organised an literary for my trip to Iya Valley. Not to mentioned, the amazing breakfast and dinner they will prepare for the guests. Their cooking puts some of the chefs in town to shame. The ingredients are all handpicked from the forest. Amazing place to stay. Thank you very much Aya san and husband.

Tomoko san's place is a gem. It has EVERYTHING: the entire second floor with a most comfortable bed, free pick-up, all amenities in the kitchen and bathroom, a cutest rabbit, and an outstanding host. Tomoko san is 100/100 friendly, warm, and attentive to details that make the stay homie. The free breakfast she cooks rocks too, definitely sophisticated ryokan level. I will definitely go back to Tomoko san's place whenever in Takamatsu again. Thank you for everything!

My stay was perfect. Keiko was a lovely host, always responsive, offered to help book restaurants, and there when I checked in to help me get oriented. The room was comfortable and spotless. Very quick walk from the port, great food nearby, and rented a bike within a 5 minute walk. Very peaceful and quiet.

Had a wonderful stay with Takayama-san. For walking henro, the pickup from Katsuura at the foot of Kakurinji is very convenient. Highly recommend taking the meal offer. Mitsuko-san was very accommodating to my vegetable-focused meal request and confirmed whether ingredients such as eggs and fish were OK. The house has a lot of history, with various antiques and a garden. If you go in June, the biwa tree will have fruit to taste. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy a space that has both legacy and tastefully designed modernisations. Have a read through their welcome package before arriving. It's very well prepared by Sayaka-san and will help you enjoy your stay to the fullest. 歴史のある家。 高山さんはうち内の絵画や骨董品について説明してくれた。 食事付きの滞在を強く勧める。 自家製のソースや地元の食材を使った料理もある。 おへんろさんは勝浦のJAスーパー（遍路の道隣り）まで送達できる。

We loved our stay at Kaoru's house. The room is spacious and beautiful, the bathroom setup is convenient and private despite being a shared area, and the breakfast is delicious. The futon mattresses, duvets, and pillows are super comfortable. Our girls had lots of fun playing with Kaoru's daughter and we got some amazing local tips from Kaoru including a wonderful visit to her friends' who produce and process indigo.

A true gem of a home stay. The location is amazing. You feel like you are living in a 16th century painting of a peaceful Japanese landscape. I saw the most spectacular sunset of my life from the dock in front of the house. There is a great beach a short walk away. What really makes this stay stand out is the next-level hospitality of the hosts. They are amazingly kind, helpful, and friendly. They cooked us some of the best food that we have had in our travels in Japan. Cannot be recommended highly enough!

Staying with Karin was such a delight while we were on Toshiba Island for the Setouchi Triennale. Karin, Akira, and Sada were so friendly and helpful, from recommending restaurants to organizing our e-bike rental (which was SUPER useful, because everyone else who showed up wasn’t able to rent a bike) to making us breakfast in the morning before our ferry. Karin has a beautiful home and is such a warm host. We hope to see her again in the future!

Outstandingly the best place we have ever stayed. The location and setting are out of this world and the property is immaculate, but more than that, the hosts are the best. Mio & Sho are welcoming and top level hosts, who allowed us to share this beautiful home with them as well as their stories. Great people.

It was an endlessly pleasant stay in this stunning house with a view of the sea. The hosts were such kind and lovely people that it's impossible to put into words how warm and caring they were. The food they prepared was so delicious that I was left speechless. I had both dinner and breakfast, and the hosts kindly went out of their way to make vegan meals especially for me, which made it even more meaningful. It was such a joy to witness their gentle relationship and the love they show for their sweet daughter, Emma-chan. Unfortunately, I accidentally took the key with me, causing the hosts some inconvenience, but luckily I had only traveled to a nearby island, and I was able to return the key on my way back. It was such a tender and emotional moment that it brought tears to my eyes. I wholeheartedly recommend staying in this house! P.S. I'm sure I forgot the key because I was completely overwhelmed by that insanely delicious breakfast, especially the bread that was baked by Totoshka

It’s the perfect place to enjoy breakfast overlooking a picturesque seaside sunrise. Satomi is so kind and a great host. The most difficult part of staying here is leaving in the morning!
