This property is an absolute gem! We’ve just returned from our first holiday to Mauritius, and had the most amazing time. The house was spacious and well equipped, the beds were comfortable in air conditioned bedrooms, and the views to die for. Our children spent countless hours in the pool and loved the beach which was directly accessed from the bottom of the garden. There was parking for our car and the house was very secure with electric gates to the front. There was a useful shop close to the house and all the facilities you could require in the next town. The south of the island is beautiful, and has so many attractions to keep everyone entertained. Dominique was the perfect host, always available when needed . Jean Noel, the maintenance guy was amazing and was very friendly to our children, picking and opening coconuts from the trees in the garden and giving lessons in Mauritian life. I’ve never been so sad to leave at the end of a holiday, and we are already planning our return!

Jean Christophe, his family and Agnes were all warm, helpful and generous hosts. The house and location were even better than the photos and the kindness afforded by the nearby family and the housekeeping team was fabulous. I will miss looking up at Le Morne from the pool 💔 but we will be back! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home.

She made our stay as simple and enjoyable as possible. Whenever we needed help, his responses were quick and effective. We were confined in the apartment for a day or two because of the cyclone, but the quality of the accommodation, including the pool, allowed us to enjoy anyway. Amreen was very thoughtful and cared for our well-being throughout this situation. I highly recommend this listing 100%. The time at the Palm Nest was beautiful. We liked the location in Tamarin as you can easily explore the beautiful west of the island from there. At La Preneuse beach at your doorstep you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. The contact with Coralie was super helpful, friendly and straightforward. 🫶🏻

We had an incredible 12-night stay at this holiday villa. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The host and cleaners were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They were super friendly and attentive, even assisting us with extra services like washing our clothes, which was a big help during our stay. A special thank you to Malini, who was a true gem! She was always available, checked in regularly to make sure we were okay, and made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. The villa itself was perfect for a family getaway – clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It provided everything we needed to relax and enjoy our holiday. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to recommend this villa to other families. We look forward to returning in the future!

We were welcomed into the home on our arrival with great communication. The property is located in a very secure gated community with guards. The property was spotless and maintained to a high standard. It felt very homely and we enjoyed all the amenities, especially the pool and living areas. All the rooms had both AC and a ceiling fan with remote control setting which was very convenient. The location was great for us to get to a few of our adventures which I clouded casella nature park and tamarin falls. Also only 7min drive to flic en flac with numerous restaurants. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to visit mauritius. Also had a lovely view from the terrace!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! Florian, the host, is incredibly helpful and always available – he gives great tips and is always available if you need anything. The apartment is part of a small complex with three residential units and has a communal kitchen, a pool, and a beautiful communal terrace where you can relax wonderfully. It is the perfect starting point to explore the island. However, a car is recommended, as the location is a bit remote!We initially used the public bus, which worked well, but then decided to use a car to be more flexible. A special highlight is the lovely cook, who prepares really delicious food on pre-order and brings it directly to the villa - a great service! In addition, cleaning and laundry are done once a week, which provides additional comfort. Overall, highly recommended 😍

Wow, our stay at Albion was nothing short of amazing! We truly felt at home. Alex and Marie-France were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and communicated well throughout our stay. The place itself was spotless with beautiful finishes and had all the amenities we needed. They were super responsive to any questions we had about the area or the home. Highly recommend their place—and them as hosts!

Would recommend staying at Dan’s place. We had a great visit. The apartment is conveniently located ~5 min walk to beach and “downtown” Flic en Flac. Apartment is comfortable and has the amenities you need. Best of all is Dan! He’s a great AirBnb host. He and his mother could not have been more welcoming and friendly. Thank you for everything!

We cant recommended this place enough, it was perfect for the 3 of us. The place was super clean and well maintained. Barendar is a great host. Everything from the linen to the toiletries were all stocked up. She even had a small medical kit, which in our case was super helpful since my son had a minor cut while snorkelling . If you’re a small family and looking for a place to stay this would be perfect. A peaceful neighbourhood and very conveniently located.

My family and I had a fantastic two-night stay at Zaheer’s place, and it was worth every penny! Zaheer is an incredibly friendly and accommodating host, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect—steps away from an almost private beach, with tons of restaurants nearby and exciting spots like Rochester Falls to explore. The outdoor jacuzzi was a delightful bonus, perfect for unwinding after busy days filled with activities. The house itself is comfortable, ideal for relaxing after hours spent outdoors. With so much to do in the area, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house. Better than what the pics suggested. Very well organised, and perfectly located if you are looking something in the south-west region. Bcz we travelled with an infant, we needed some extra things in the house which were provided by the host. We felt very welcoming by the lovely family and the host was quick to respond on anything i asked. The neighbourhood is a bliss if you like serenity.

We stayed at Krishna's place for 5 nights and it was awesome. The La Gaulette area is very peaceful and has a supermarket very closeby. The house is accessible from the road on one side and opens out to the ocean overlooking Ile Aux Beneiters on the other side. Great sunset views right from the house. The house itself is spacious and as described in the listing. Most amenities are available inside. Krishna was the most welcoming and always helpful and proactive. The neighbours are also most helpful and their kids came out to play with ours. Overall, we loved the place and would definitely consider it on our next visit here. If you are looking for a house in the south/west part of Mauritius, look no further!

Beautiful modern home with quality amenities and beautiful finishes. The house was clean upon arrival, no complaints. The exterior with its swimming pool, terrace and magnificent rooftop sea view are a real advantage. The neighborhood is quiet and secure. Check-in instructions are clear, host is available and responsive if needed.

Michel is a pleasant, discreet and helpful host, very responsive and gives good advice. He booked all our excursions, including the restaurant, taxi, and rental car. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and exactly matches the description. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at this house in Tamarin. The property is spacious, well appointed, and in an extremely convenient location — close to everything we needed. It had all the essentials and more, making it a comfortable and practical base for our time in the area. A particular highlight was the property manager, who was outstanding throughout our stay. She was not only friendly and welcoming, but also consistently helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We’re especially grateful for her flexibility and support when we needed to extend our reservation. Highly recommended — we would gladly stay here again.

Pretty typical Mauritian house, with its garden and varangue (covered terrace) under the coconut trees. Located a few minutes walk from the preneuse, pretty quiet white sand beach frequented by a few families with children, ideal for watching the sunset or morning baths. We are woken up by the birds in the morning, it's very nice to have lunch outside on the terrace . Air conditioning in both bedrooms. Shops are a few minutes away by car, with the option to buy takeout among others . Our stay was perfect, thank you Francis and Loïc for hosting us! See you next time

Pleasant accommodation (the best disposition of our stay) is very well suited for a family. The bedding is nice. Impeccable decoration. All the equipment, utensils, basics are available. 5 minutes by car from the very pretty Tamarind beach, 20 min from cop in Flac. Amenities nearby by car. Sophie welcomed us very warmly and advised us. We are so satisfied. The only downside is the road noise (very busy) at the door of the accommodation. We would recommend it.

My stay at this villa was fantastic! The property was clean, beautifully decorated, and offered stunning views. The private pool was a highlight, and the kitchen was well-equipped for meals. The location was ideal, close to local attractions and beaches. The host was responsive and provided great recommendations, making my stay even better.
