Family-friendly holiday rentals in Tamborine Mountain

Thanks to Karen and Michael for a very comfortable stay! We felt very at home from the minute we walked in and had really restful sleeps. The place is super kid friendly and our 18 month old was very safe and comfy too. It has great kitchen appliances, we appreciated all the little welcome chocs, snacks and breaky foods, and all the good quality bed and bath things. Can’t talk highly enough about this airbnb! Would stay again.

I had a great stay at this place during my trip to the Gold Coast. Everything was more than just good – the cleanliness, comfort, and overall setup exceeded my expectations. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free, and the place looked exactly like the photos. The host was responsive and helpful throughout the stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Great experience overall!

Annette is The Best host you can ask for. Very responsive, proactive and really good-hearted. She took the extra effort to inform me of potential road closures on my road trip due to flood. Not only that, upon hearing that my flight timing from Singapore was advanced by few hours, without any hesitation she told me to just come early 7am check in, and this happened months before the trip, and even told me that no worries about any potential booking the day before. Talking about the house, it was great. Lots of space and privacy, and the jacuzzi is wonderful to use on a cold early winter night. It’s like onsen experience but a lot more private. The surrounding of the house is beautiful and peaceful. Of course you will need car to get around but then again you need a car everywhere in Australia. And the supermarket is just 3 minutes drive away within the same estate (no need to drive to main roads). Overall if we come back to Brisbane again, we know where to stay. Thank you Annette!

Caroline’s place at Surfers Aquarius was absolutely incredible! The view from the 33rd floor was simply breathtaking—waking up to that ocean view was something else. The apartment was spotless, stylish, and had everything we needed for a super comfortable stay. The building itself had great amenities, and the location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, cafes, and shops. Caroline was a lovely host—very responsive and thoughtful. Easily one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve had. Highly recommended!

A beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. The house was immaculate and exceeded expectations in terms of beauty and amenities. Jim was the most responsive host we’ve had during any Airbnb stay. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and the house was in good condition after the cyclone. He was truly fantastic. Because of the cyclone, the private path to the beach was unusable but 200m down the road (Wareham St) was another entrance to the beach which was accessible for my elderly father. The beach is not patrolled this time of year but has shade and was still beautiful despite the erosion/accessibility issues. There was a playground next to the property which worked well for our 2.5 year old (with supervision). A 10 minute walk up the road was a great bakery/coffee, a small grocery store and a great Indian restaurant among other shops. Easy 10-15 minute drive into Byron which has a woolies and is patrolled. Highly recommend.

Lana was super lovely, very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The place was very clean on arrival and great location. Pet friendly which was amazing for us as we are traveling with our cat!

We loved our stay at Byron Bay and at Jeanine’s property. We felt right at home straight away. The property is stunning and the huge balcony was a big plus. Jeanine and her family were lovely and extremely friendly. Jeanine was very welcoming and gave some great recommendations for the local area. 10/10 stay and would definitely come again.

Fantastic home, easy walking distance to all the shops and restaurants would highly recommend. Garden is fully fenced so fantastic if you’ve got a dog. The supplied soap and shower gel were a nice touch. Hosts were responsive, and house is very modern. House was spotlessly clean, would stay again.

Ryan’s place is very good value. It is a short walk (5mns) to town, the pub and beach; has plenty of room; has a secure yard for our dog; and is well-equipped, very well-presented and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Rochelle’s Property was perfect for my family. It was close to everything we needed and extremely clean and comfortable. Definitely go back there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Freddie's, and made to feel at home right away - Estelle is a wonderful host, excellent communication, friendly and thoughtful, checking in with us throughout the stay. We loved the proximity to the beach and the beachside walking path which we'd walk down to Broadbeach, and being able to see the ocean from the balcony/breakfast bar was a real bonus (we did a lot of sitting at the breakfast bar, it's a fantastic touch). The apartment is tastefully renovated and furnished, with a comfortable bed and living area to relax into. It was very handy having a car space and we mostly walked anywhere we needed to get to locally, only driving when we were going further afield. We also got to enjoy and appreciate Surfers Paradise as more than a tourist location, but a residential neighbourhood, to feel like a home away from home for a week. Thank you so much Estelle for being such a fantastic host and for a lovely stay!

I had an amazing experience staying at Karen’s place! From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The check-in process was super easy, and the host provided clear instructions and a house guide. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay — including a fully equipped kitchen, and cozy bedding. We were down visiting family and everything we needed was easy to get to. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a lovely peaceful weekend at Sue’s! The house was a beautiful old farm house, with ample spots to sit and take in the amazing views. We loved the indoor fireplace! The dogs loved the place and the fenced yard was perfect for them to get out their energy! A wonderful country stay, we’ll definitely go back!

It was such a nice experience to stay at David and Sandra's place. The house has everything you need to make yourself at home. David was very attentive and responsive at all times. They look after the pool and facilities so that makes it very easy for you. We did not have to contact them for cleaning the pool. Before we notices it was already done before we had to ask. Place is well kept. It is close to a beautiful entrance to Tallow's beach. In spite of bad weather, we made the most out of our stay. You have everything close to you at walking distance if you do not want to go into town. Suffolk it is only 10 minutes drive from Byron Bay, so it makes things very easy. I believe it is a great location for a relaxed holiday with the family close enough to main attractions wihouth necessarilyn been in the heart of Byron. We would definitely recommend David and Sandra's beautiful home.

Absolutely perfect place for our 2 week holiday. The house had everything we needed and Maria was a pleasure to communicate with. Check-in and out was faultless and everything in-between. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially families. Location was spot on too.

Ellen and Keith are such an amazing, wonderful and helpful hosts❤️! They took very good care of us and really go beyond their means to help us. Our trip up there were a series of unfortunate events but our lovely hosts absolutely brighten up our trip! We are eternally grateful for their help during our stay with them. As for the cottage, it is very cozy and charming. It has everything we needed there from well-supplied kitchen to comfortable bed. In addition, the location was walkable distance to nice restaurants and supermarket. Fantastic place to chill and unwind! We highly recommend anyone who wants to visit Bangalow/intends to explore Byron Bay to stay with them!

We loved our time at this property! The hosts couldn't have made us feel any more welcome and the house was a favourite for us across our travels, giving us plenty of space and a really homely feel to spend our time. Places like this really add that little bit extra in making time spent travelling feel special. Would book again in a heartbeat!

Amazing place for a gateaway with friends. Rob was a great host and welcomed us for the check in. The house is located in a quiet location but just 25 minutes from the Gold Coast. Kitchen has everything you need to cook proper homemade meals. We would love to come back!

Michelle was super communicative. Booked at the last minute and she had us sorted in no time. Arrived late at night and auto check-in was seamless. It was a work trip so we weren't there much, but the house was very tidy and well presented and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Great place - clean, cosy and central to everything in the GC. Glen was also very responsive and helpful during our stay which we really appreciated.

Great little secluded and comfortable place to stay. Close to cafes and shops, and was surprisingly quiet for being in town.
